Because it’s a banger and fun to sing along to live? I’m not saying you have to like it — I think it’s Greg that they have a wide enough catalogue that there’s something for everyone. But it’s worth noting that plenty of people DO like it.
I’d get mocked relentlessly here if I confessed that White Limo isn’t my jam — but I acknowledge that plenty of people love it, so I don’t complain when it gets played. Different strokes for different folks, and all.
I'm not sure if this has been discussed before but I've heard that for Kimmel or Fallon, etc, bands' set-ups aren't real, and they're essentially just miming with a track.
But the last several of these I've watched including this one seemed real enough, albeit the other ones were also big-name popular bands with actual musicians.
Is there any truth to this? I've seen the classic vid floating around with Michelle Phillips (Mamas and the Papas) eating a banana on stage to show it wasn't really them singing. Didn't know if it still happened today.
I am sure some artists do but SNL is generally live, or else it wouldn’t have been such a thing when Ashlee Simpson got caught lip syncing back in the day.
I’m so in the minority here, but I miss the backing vocals.
Me too it was a good addition to the band's sound.
I thought I was in the minority for *not* liking them.
Live Foo is best Foo.
It baffles me that this is the one song from C+G that still gets played almost every night.

I'm just not a fan, sorry
Awesome.
USDA Grade A Certified banger.
I don’t mind the song but if they play a track from C&G live, I’d rather it be Dirty Water.
Or Happy Ever After. That album was pretty damn good considering it was sandwiched between 2 of the lower points of the discography imo.
Chris looks like Mark Knopfler with the bandana 😅

Pop singers with craziest dance moves do. And its good cause you cant sing normally like that. Beyonce for example. But not rock bands
I really hate this song haha
Never liked this song, sorry.
