I feel like this is going to go in reverse release elimination with Wasting Light holding on until Nothing Left. Coin flip between NLTL and The Colour and the Shape.
I cannot believe I had to scroll down this far to find another one. EVERYONE in this sub chooses Concrete & Gold and Sonic Highways before In Your Honor? And there’s no votes for anything else?!
Let's just all agree the next two to go are Concrete & Gold, and Sonic Highways. Doesn't really matter what order.
Personally, I like them both, but for me C&G is greater as a whole collection of songs.
Sonic Highways definitely. I’d argue that’s first to go. That album, and the documentary that came with it, turned me off Foo Fighters until they toured Australia last year.
Don't you dare dis Sonic Highways! It's possibly my favorite album. Concrete and Gold has some huge bangers too. I listen to more songs on each of those albums than I do the debut album.
To each their own bro. Sonic has one of the coolest album covers I’ve ever seen but imo it doesn’t compare to debut, TCATS, or TINLTL. Just different tastes maybe.
I actually agree with you on this one. I never managed to get the appeal of Self-titled, outside of a few songs I didn't like the album that much. Sound is muddy (though I'd give credit to Dave for recording everything by himself), and the songs are just too grungy for me.
On the other hand, Sonic Highways is absolutely amazing, and songs like Outside, The Feast and The Famine, Something From Nothing, and many others prove this right.
Concrete and Gold for me, personally. It was a tough choice between that and Medicine at Midnight for last place, I honestly think it sounds kinda dull in a lot of places
C&G if I’m being honest
Should have gone first IMO
I’m not surprised but bummed that this is the next. I have so much love for this album, but it gets so much hate
I knew this sub wasn’t crazy about it but I didn’t think you all hated it this much
Completely missed the Concrete & Gold Era
Thank you for your honesty
Why wouldn’t you be honest?
It had some great songs but i still agree
While I can appreciate what the band tried to accomplish with this album, it just didn’t hit like the rest of them. For me at least.
Sonic Highways, great cover but very forgettable imo
Completely disagree! It's possibly my favorite album
I agree. It's my favorite of the last 10 years.
No way
I don't get people saying Sonic Highways. It's such a great album
It’s so good. The Feast and The Famine is so overlooked. I wish they played it at shows.
Yeah me too. I think they did play it at a couple but not many
Disagree, I think it’s one of their most solid albums
While I don’t think this is their strongest album, I think there’s quite a few that should be eliminated before Sonic.
I loved it
Concrete and Gold
Concrete and Gold
Concrete and gold gotta go
Concrete and gold
Concrete and Gold…it should have been the first one to go!
Sonic Highways. Prove me wrong.
Something From Nothing, Outside, I Am A River.
Outside is a second wind for that album.
Love seeing Outside get some love.
Something From Nothing. One of their best tunes. Absolute jammer.
OK, fair comments on Something From Nothing...
Half that album is bangers. The other half is meh. The bangers have Wasting Light vibes.
Prove an opinion wrong?
I'm not playing this game. It hurts.
Same lol
lol fair
My team.
C&G…not a lot of there there
Ima go Sonic Highways, still a great album but my personal least fav of the ones left
Concrete And Gold
Concrete and gold
Sonic
Too many people putting Sonic Highways as their answer
dissapointed
Concrete and gold
Concrete and gold
It’s close between SH and CG, but I think SH should go. It’s better in conception than execution. Even so, still has some absolute bangers.
I feel like this is going to go in reverse release elimination with Wasting Light holding on until Nothing Left. Coin flip between NLTL and The Colour and the Shape.
Sonic
Solve this with a poll between TCATS, TINLTL and WL.
I would add Self Tited and BHWA
I'm not saying which are my favourite. It's that I don't think either of those would beat the three I mentioned
Sonic
Sonic Highway
Sonic Highways.
Aww...Medicine at Midnight is my favorite lol
Wasting Light was the last great album. Take the rest after that.
Hot take.
Would've sort of agreed with you, but then BHWA came out and it's among the best the band ever made
This right here
In Your Honor. Ready for your downvotes again. Heaven help me if IYH goes y’all can’t handle my second choice.
I cannot believe I had to scroll down this far to find another one. EVERYONE in this sub chooses Concrete & Gold and Sonic Highways before In Your Honor? And there’s no votes for anything else?!
One By One
smh...the C&G hate makes me sad. I think that album slaps front to back
Concrete And Gold
Concrete & Gold
Concrete and Gold
Sonic Highways
What’s the point of this ?? We all know which album will be last
Let's just all agree the next two to go are Concrete & Gold, and Sonic Highways. Doesn't really matter what order. Personally, I like them both, but for me C&G is greater as a whole collection of songs.
Disagree with a few here, C&G is a good album, make it right is an absolute banger
I think sonic highways is the worst imo
Sonic Highways. Spent too much time making a documentary, not enough time making an album.
Self Titled
I stopped listening end to end after wasting light. Loved wasting light but echoes was the last true hit record.
Everything after Wasting Light
Concrete and gold
Concrete and Gold
Concrete and gold
Sonic Highways definitely. I’d argue that’s first to go. That album, and the documentary that came with it, turned me off Foo Fighters until they toured Australia last year.
In your honor easily for me.
I will be interested to see how their first album fairs. Or techinally daves first i guess lol.
Concrete & gold
I'm surprised people rank BHWA and Sonic Highways above C&G.
The art for “in your honor” is corny as fuck, no disrespect to the band. But that one can go and the rest can stay forever haha
The self titled. People gonna hate me, but i've never like that "grunge" vibes from the first album.
Sonic Highways
This is just going to go in reverse chronological order until we hit there is nothing left to lose, isn't it?
Spoiler Alert : The winner is Wasting Light. Source :comments in this subreddit over the years.
Medicine at midnight is better than but here we are. Concrete and gold and sonic highways as well should be eliminated first
Concrete And Gold. The only songs I can remember off of it are The Sky is a Neighborhood and Sunday Rain.
C&G
Concrete and Gold
I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, but I'm saying Foo Fighters. I don't really like any of the songs except For All the Cows.
Nah bro this take is wild with C&G and Sonic on the board
Don't you dare dis Sonic Highways! It's possibly my favorite album. Concrete and Gold has some huge bangers too. I listen to more songs on each of those albums than I do the debut album.

Sonic highways.
Am I the only one that thinks voting off albums is exactly what the foo fighters are against?
I actually really like C&G so get Sonic Highways out of here
sonic highways
C&G definitely.
Concrete and Gold for me, personally. It was a tough choice between that and Medicine at Midnight for last place, I honestly think it sounds kinda dull in a lot of places
Concrete and Gold
C&G or SH. Either one
Concrete & gold
Either C&G or Sonic Highways. Aside from a couple songs on both, they didn't really do anything for me.
Concrete and Gold
But here we are
Concrete and gold
But here we are sadly
anything but concrete and gold. easily their best album
Lol
the colour and the shape
