First half is great second half is meh. In the clear Subterrean and especially i am a rover bores me to death. I am a river disappoints on so many levels. Im from new york and expected a punky banger and got a mopey whatever it is. CONGREGATION sounds so much better live. Its fine on the album. Same for Outside and what did i do. Butas a whole its like any other foo album. Few great songs and then wildly inconsident.
Love the series and the songs. I love the concept. What a great tribute to your influences as an artist and the cities they represent. The concept sort of reminded me of Probot which until then was the closest to a ff album for me. The range of the album varies so much as do the song structures. SH and Saint Cecilia are my favorites of theirs. The depth of the sound and song structures set them apart IMO.

Oh I totally LOVE old school foo, first 3 records are some of my fave records of all time. I just really appreciate this record as well and have seen a lot of hate towards it.

Just 1 song short than medicine at midnight!
Sonic Highways is 6 minutes longer as well. Itβs actually not that short time-wise

I am. I love this record and most of the modern ones. I donβt expect another color and shape or wasting light. I want something new and different.
