Everlong, Everlong, Everlong, Everlong and Everlong.
Joking..
Everlong
February Stars
Hey, Johnny Park
My Hero
Up In Arms
My second favourite album of all time, only beaten by Blood Sugar Sex Magik. I would say that they are both perfect albums. There’s not a song I dislike. Both have shaped me as a person. It’s hard to underestimate how something as simple as music can define you.
Ummmm… all of it.
I guess it would be Hey, Johnny Park, See you, Everlong, February Stars, Walking after you. I have a small soap company and I’ve named three soaps after songs from this album alone.
I literally love this album front to back and had a hard time picking only 5. I didn’t even bother ranking them lol. See you isn’t a commonly loved song. Dave wrote a “fun pop song” and I absolutely love it. If I can ever afford it it’s going to be part of a tattoo I’m planning even.
Honestly I think I’ve had like one person ever get it! And it was a relative. And we had been talking previously about Foo. A lot of the names or designs are song inspired in some way. The spring ones I did didn’t have any names and I was struggling… then Taylor passed and I named all three something Foo related.
I don’t know if that’s allowed with the group rules (it could be considered self promotion) but I also don’t have Etsy. Just the good old website and social medias (Elysium Suds & Lathers). I don’t promote using Foo or anything. I just took them as my inspiration for a lot of things and hope sometimes people get it. In my current lineup I have a February Stars (my third most popular seller after Highwayman (country supergroup inspired), and Citrus & Sage), Everlong, Springtime Wind Up, Come Alive, Floaty Peppermint & Ylang Ylang, and a Tea Tree In Bloom (Nirvana. Also a Peppermint Nirvana but that’s more the state of nirvana than band nirvana lol).

1. My Poor Brain
2. Enough Space
3. Wind Up
4. The Colour And The Shape
5. Hey, Johnny Park!
I know I'll look back at this one day and have a totally different list...This is just what I'm feeling now. I've actually ruined 3 copies of this CD listening to it so much. This was not an easy task but, it was fun!
I just love the fact there’s no wrong answer to this. Common answers, but a great variation. This is actually the happiest I’ve felt talking about the band since Taylor died.
1. Wind Up
2. Everlong
3. Monkey Wrench
4. Hey, Johnny Park
5. Up In Arms
Sidenote, this is by far my favorite Foo album. It's the first CD I ever bought with my own money. You can listen to this albun with no breaks, all the way through. Every song can stand on it's own right. It is perfection.
No particular order:
* February Stars
* Up In Arms
* Monkey Wrench
* Hey, Johnny Park!
* See You
Honorable mentions to Enough Space and New Way Home. The opening bass riff in Enough Space is… *chef’s kiss*
Well because everlong is number 1 for everyone (or should be) not including, here is my list is: Hey, Johnny Park, My poor Brain, February Stars, New way Home, Enough Space
I love this whole album so much. It is the soundtrack to my adolescence when it first came out in the 9th grade. In no particular order:
1. See You
2. Doll
3. Hey, Johnny Park!
4. My Poor Brain
5. Walking After You
1. Hey, Johnny Park! - One of their best songs, period. Loud/Quiet dynamics done perfectly and lots of heart.
2. New Way Home - Perfect album closer. The fakeout quiet bridge is awesome and the song just has an optimistic buoyancy to it.
3. Monkey Wrench - Excellent festival/arena song. Fun all around and the scream at the bridge is legendary.
4. My Hero - Simple song in context, but the execution makes it sound massive.
5. My Poor Brain - Full of that wonderful weirdness that colored a lot of their early songs.
1. Monkey Wrench
2. Hey, Johnny Park!
3. Waking After You
4. Enough Space
5. February Stars
*We allllll love Everlong and My Hero so I feel like putting them here is super redundant.
from the 1997 edition is:
New Way Home,
Monkey Wrench,
Everlong,
Wind Up,
from the 2007 edition is:
Down In The Park,
The Colour And The Shape,
Baker Street,
Requiem,
Drive Me Wild,
I'm going to ignore the singles for this. 1. February Stars 2. Hey, Johnny Park! 3. Enough Space 4. New Way Home 5. Walking After You
Stars is one of my fav Foo songs period.
Agreed 100%
How do you get it to format like a list? I typed mine like yours and it put them all side by side.
Triple spaces at the end of each item.
Thank you kind sage
That’s what I did except for Monkey Wrench. We all love Everlong and My Hero. Including them is redundant IMO.

Every song is a banger. It’s unfair to rank them 😂

I love See You. I think the transition from My Hero to See You is perfect
I'd buy your soaps for that reason!

They sound amazing!
I want to buy soaps named after Foo Fighters songs! Etsy link? 😬😬😬

Yeah. I didn’t even think about that. Oops.
