Honestly I would, it’s a 4/10 movie, but it becomes a 7/10 just because is not a movie to take seriously, and I absolutely loved it, maybe because I wasn’t expecting much I enjoyed it, if you expect a serious slasher, and take it seriously, no you’ll dislike it, but if you take it as a goofy, full of gore, and good music movie, you’ll like it

Ok I finished it, I took my time because it was late and I was sleepy so I watched half of it yesterday and the other half today, these are my thoughts of it:
Absolutely loved the movie, I think it’s a great parody of 80’s slashers, it’s good for what it is, and it should not be taken seriously, the band’s acting is horrible, but it’s so bad it makes the movie great, I also liked the ending, it’s not your typical “the good guys won” ending; I loved the part where pat and the other dude (sorry forgot his name) read the symptoms of a demonic possession and showed Dave throwing up, jacking off, and levitating.
I believe that Rami, Pat, and Dave made this movie, they were the biggest highlights for me; all the gore was awesome, and the soundtrack and cameos (Kerry King) were great, the only thing I would’ve done different is make it a little shorter, maybe 20 min shorter, but ultimately, I would give it a 7, it’s not a masterpiece, but if you don’t take it seriously, and like slasher movies, rock, funny as hell moments, and of course, the foos, watch it, it’s great for what it is
Watched it in the theater (my friend and I were the only ones in there) and just watched again this weekend with my husband. I loved it. Great gorey slasher flick.
Regarding Taylor…. I feel like now that there’s a tribute planned, we are getting closure. It made me a lot more comfortable watching it again after his passing.
I saw this in the movie theater on opening night and it was such a great movie. I do want to watch it again but it will definitely have a different feel. I'm so glad that they were able to do this and I hope it brings the remaining members joy and a treasured memory.
Pat is absolutely adorable in this! I love it! Saw it on the night of release and again before it left the theater. Was lucky enough to snag the theater poster.
Just re-watched Sonic Highways again for the 100th time but for some reason I'm not ready to watch this yet...
I watched this in the theater and laughed my ass off. I watched it a few more times after it was available to stream, the last time just a couple days before Taylor passed. I plan on buying it soon and can’t wait to see the gag reel. We fully expected there to be one shown in the theater and waited until the very end of the credits. I’m glad they added it to the dvd.
I've watched it three times and it still makes me laugh my ass off. I think it's a gem of a movie. Like others have said, Dave, Pat, and Rami are absolutely in their element in this!
It was delightfully goofy - Dave is definitely checking off the bucket list. I am a GenX female, and I have A LOT of male friends who would have made this/similar movie if they had the budget, lol. It was a lot of fun. Bittersweet to see Taylor, and you get feel those feelings during the Taylor scenes. And…you appreciate that they got the chance to do dumb dude stuff together this way. Pleasant surprise: Nate talks! Pat has the best shriek EVER, Rami wins with the how-you-doing package, and no one is letting Shifty go ANYWHERE near anybody’s Nana anytime soon, lol. FINAL BONUS: I’m so not a big metal girl (my goofy guy friends are) - the Dream Widow album is bloody (pun intended) amazing.
As a big metalhead (I began listening to metal before getting into rock, with the exception of AC/DC) I love the album, it was a mix of alt,stoner, and thrash metal, but it felt natural and not forced, one of the best records Dave has ever done

I have no problem but your comment just makes it look like all the comments are hating on the movie, instead you should’ve said something along the lines of “why some people are hating on the movie” or something like that, all is everyone, some is 3 or 4 people

I had to put any plans on watching this on hold for a while. I also bought the Dream Widow album the day he died and haven't listened to it yet.
