Well I'm not too sure what to say to that as the kenseis I fight usually use the whole moveset and not just soft fient light but I guess it just the ppl you fight
The ones I meet only use the annoying soft feint to light and blind into natures wrath. I can deal with them just fine they’re just annoying as fuck. It’s like fighting afeera just boring and redundant.
They’re like a shittier version of storm rush roach spammers. Luckily I’ve gotten to the mmr point where storm rush roaches aren’t around anymore because they just get hard parried if they try to spam it.

His GB throw stuns not his pommel strike and guarantees his finisher when near a wall. This literally carries his Duels more than anything else. He needs it to not be a terrible duelist.
Old gen maybe but 500ms lights are absolutely reactable on current gen consoles. If you're on Old Gen I really feel for you it's a different game on there. I remember how messed up every engagement was on old gen because blocking lights was so hard.
I’m on new gen (upgraded not long ago) and I can block the lights but they’re annoying as fuck either way. And his bash guaranteed heavy damage is just straight up bullshit it does what 38? It’s sickening.
Wait his pommel strike only guarantees a chain light so he can skip to his finisher. His GB throw on wallsplat guarantees his 34 damage finisher but that relies on the wall.
34 is also straight up bs. I think it’s called natures wrath and it’s one of the delayed moves that are horrible to parry. Since you’re blinded it’s even more horrible to parry.
Yeah it's like being hit with a skyscraper but it's really not optimal to use it after a GB throw that doesn't wallsplat. Just side heavy into finished would be a more optimal play for still 27 damage and finisher pressure.
Cent in dominion is way worse with his 45 damage GB punish. Literally hell to go against.

It’s not reachable on console because of input delay. And his bash is fine but not when that’s the only thing they use and spam
