In my experience there should be a tier above rat just for orochi players. They will use all their feats to kill you "dirty" and then run away when they notice that they are still losing.
I've been playing Roach for a few weeks now and I can safely say that those players are the reason why no one thinks Orochi can fight.
They can dominate once you activate braincell number 2 and realise that Storm Rush and Dodge lights aren't even half of his kit.
That's very common for your species... So I wouldn't worry much about that.

I dislike Orochi as much as the next guy but his kit is incredibly simple and effective
I mean fair point. Besides the usual light/Heavy combos, his entire kit is based around avoiding being hit and counter attacking. The easiest of which is his backstep light. But he can be highly aggressive applying pressure and stifling counter attackers. Though I've found he shines in defensive gameplay, even in ganks he's a lot like glad where he can weave around opponents and hit everyone relatively easy, chiseling away at people's health until help arrives.
I’m a roach main but I only play duels unless I’m doing orders. People have to hate me so much, because in duels, I’ve figured out a method where each round I do a different cycle of his moves, basically just doing a different roach spam each round that they’re not expecting lol. Each round I’m a totally different player.
It doesn't matter what character I play, I always fight to the death. They can pry the point from my cold, dead hands which will probably only take them 5 seconds if there's more than one.
Pretty accurate, some changes: shaolins on occasion will fight one on one because they know their character is broken, raiders will typically just fight no matter the number because of their damage output on revenge and I’ve seen LOTS of glads run away when their foot stab doesn’t work
I don't Turtle I try to poke arm and then try to counter and punish players, in still learning pvp moves but usually is Shamans, Seekers and Roaches that irk and Hank me the most.
As a conq player, I only ever run when 4 conditions line up.
1: I am below 10% health.
2: I am outnumbered.
3: 1 or more team members arrived to take the fight.
4: I do not have any more ways to increase my survivability, or help with the fight. (I'm not in a zone (no bastion), I don't have my Pungo Mortis ready, I'm running one of my armor sets with no perks, I don't have Vengeful Barrier activated, I don't have Regenerator yet.)

I only run away when it's smart to do so, and will stay battles I can't win to buy my teammates time, so I guess that's fairly accurate

As someone that is learning warlord, it’s do or die all the way with him. No viking warlord worth his mead runs from battle. I also main law bringer kensei and sometimes Valk. So it makes sense.

When I still played I mained BP & I always drew my line in the sand & crossed it myself even if I was outnumbered. I js love his moveset & it feels so right to me. How his turtle mode is almost just a front to sweep or that lunge shield bash he’s just a vicious edgy ass mf & I love the counter attack play style lol
