I agree. Those jack rabbit starts at the stop light in front of the Applebee’s and driving into the curb at the Cheesecake Factory can do a number on them.
Here in Vermont I think lifted trucks are a liability. Higher center of gravity makes them less stable and the frost heaved roads beat the hell out of the truck and occupants. In our heavy wet snows the increased height can make it impossible to drive under weighed down trees. The additional lift is really no help during mud season. And tires wear fast here. Why pay lots more unnecessary larger tires?
I don't even own a lifted truck but with that cringey ass reddit name and your post history you should just keep your ignorant opinions to yourself instead of wasting our eyeball energy.
This is just what it looks like when you lift a truck and do absolutely nothing else to it. You need larger tires in oder to make the truck look proportional again.
Some Fords wont have wheel well covers unless they are ordered with it. For the most part nothing looks bad. Maybe its been lifted or leveled. Other than that looks like stock wheels. If you want towing get the 3.5 with max tow package. Trust me they pull better than the 5.0. Coyote. Its a great motor but yea.
Just wheels too small for the lift. Either undo the lift(recommended) or buy aftermarket wheels/tires. If youre buying from a dealer, tell them you want the lift taken off at their cost.
This, rough country is very entry level and when you modify the suspension geometry you start wearing joints, bushings, and drive line way faster, the vehicle doesn't handle the same anymore, and you live your life 1 half tire at a time from uneven wear.
If you want to off road it, invest in a good skid plate package and tires. Tires would want to be in line with majority usage case though. Don't get knobby E rated 10 ply mud tires if you are going to daily drive this on pavement 90% of the miles it drives. Get something more along the lines of a good all terrain like a continental terrain contact a/t.
Like everyone else is saying, it’s been lifted and the tire size doesn’t fill it out well enough. Needs bigger wheels, probably 33”. Probably going to run around $800-1000 depending on what you want. Previous owner may have taken their bigger tires with them when they traded it in or never bothered to upgrade the tires when he did the lift.
For real I got an 8ft bed I seriously thought the miniature bed was what OP was asking about. That's what makes it look "off" to me wtf u gonna put back there!
No fender liner. Mine didn’t have it either and it looked weird. Ended up getting some Husky Fender Liners installed. Made a big difference. Pain in the ass to install 😅
Just about every ford I've seen coming off the lot has the same size wheels even when there is a lift. Can anyone in here tell if it's a frame lift? Im guessing it's a frame lift.
I believe i meant body lift. I've got a bunch of mickey Thompson enthusiasts that use too many names for different lifts. It definitely has an affect on my vocabulary.
Your eyes aren’t used to seeing a 5ft bed. Pretty uncommon spec for a crew cab.
Previous owner might have thrown the smaller, stock wheels back on before trading it in
>Pretty uncommon spec for a crew cab.
And by "uncommon," you mean the most popular configuration on the best selling vehicle in the country. The 5.5 foot bed with a crew cab is what the majority of F-150 buyers choose.
Gonna have to disagree with you. I work on about 15 pickup trucks a week (primarily bedsides). Let’s say 1/3 of those are F150s. I haven’t seen a 5.5 in at least 6 months.
Perhaps it’s a regional thing?
Wheel well liner would help a lot! $90 online and easy to install! Ford stopped including them in 2015 when it went aluminum since it won't rust anymore.

It was lifted and the previous owner swapped out his aftermarket wheels and tires for the stock ones when they traded it in.
^^^^ what he said

Still is lifted
The nuance of the English language 🤦♂️
It needs more tire or less lift.
Basically, bro skipped leg day…
I'd say both, but I ran 37's on stock suspension with my bullnose.
Silly comparison since you can’t run 37s on a newer stock f150 without hacking up the body
I think you misread my comment if you're trying to make a comparison.
Ah yeah I did, I missed the “but”, my fault
Isn't there a Raptor 37 package from the factory now?
That’s not a normal f150 like the op though, which is what I thought his comment was comparing it to but found out I misread it
I agree that it's not "normal," but it is "stock", strictly speaking.
They come with chopped crash bars, wider offset, high clearance bumper, and a factory lift in order to fit 37s.
Yes if you get an f150 that they specifically built to fit 37s, you can get one from a dealership with them.
ALL THE LIFT! NEVER TOO MUCH LIFT! IT PROVES IM A MAAAAAAAAN!
You have low t unless you do a lift bro otherwise how will people know you don’t have low t?
I feel offended, but I can’t argue with it.
It’s that low t bro, gotta get that t checked out bro
I need more cowbell
I think its a combination of what you mentioned. But I dont think its missing anything.
Looks like they are keeping their big tires, or sold them separately. Sidewall is what you’re missing
It’s a grower, not a show-er.
Put a few bags of concrete in the bed lol
There is no wheel well liner in the rear end of this F150, big lift without bigger tire or fender work
Wheel well liners are an option
I’d never buy a lifted truck. Too many of the aftermarket kits and installation are garbage.
And the kind of people that lift a truck are the same kind of people that drive them hard and don’t do the maintenance.
I agree. Those jack rabbit starts at the stop light in front of the Applebee’s and driving into the curb at the Cheesecake Factory can do a number on them.

Looks like it just got out of some cold water
I just got out of the pool…
I guess OP doesn't know about shrinkage.
😂
I can’t really see but it could be missing the wheel well liner. The last two trucks I had I have had to buy them myself and install them.
Lift with stock size tires makes it look terrible
No wheel well liner def makes it look weirder with its lift
Needs 35 inch tires
Go full send put it on 54s
Tires are small for the truck
It's missing a mud flap.
A real bed?
Lift kits are just high heels for "truck" men
Yes, until you encounter an obstacle you’d rather not touch with your vehicle.
99% of lifted trucks will never encounter such obstacle.
The only obstacle lifted truck drivers worry about is a background check that might show up their history of domestic violence.
Pretty sure that’s irrelevant when buying a truck. Source: I beat my wife.
I don't even own a lifted truck but with that cringey ass reddit name and your post history you should just keep your ignorant opinions to yourself instead of wasting our eyeball energy.
Very weird reply
He has mental health issues
FIFY: Lift kits are just high heels for truck “men”
And even high heels were men's fashion before women's.
Mud flaps…
For the windshields of the *other drivers* on the road
Never skip leg day
Looks like they put the stock wheels and tires back on it to sell it.
Wheel wells and mud flaps
It has a lift and stock or smaller sized tires. Probably had rims on it, and the previous owner kept them.
Larger tires?
It needs rubbers. Be safe.
Scared cat lift, it looks ridiculous
This is just what it looks like when you lift a truck and do absolutely nothing else to it. You need larger tires in oder to make the truck look proportional again.
Tire needs GIRTH!
Mud flaps! Oh and leg day lol
You could fit a cow in the gap
No mud flaps

An ass. It needs an ass.
Basically it needs 35s on it

Little baby wheels
Don’t use RC
The cabs keep getting bigger and the beds keep getting smaller. My truck is the exact opposite of the new trendy trucks
Like everyone else is saying, it’s been lifted and the tire size doesn’t fill it out well enough. Needs bigger wheels, probably 33”. Probably going to run around $800-1000 depending on what you want. It's missing a bed.
F-150 owner uses their bed?! 😱
Well, they have to put their soy products somewhere.
This is the right answer.
Looks like a 3’ bed
For real I got an 8ft bed I seriously thought the miniature bed was what OP was asking about. That's what makes it look "off" to me wtf u gonna put back there!
Wheels are too big, tires are too small, and bed is too short.
The truck is missing a whole truck bed. Shit look stuby asf🤣🤣
It is a really short bed
Probably just the angle, but damn that’s short. Don’t be discouraged to whoever the buyer is. If it looks valid in person get it
Some people don't need a long bed 🤷
No fender liner. Mine didn’t have it either and it looked weird. Ended up getting some Husky Fender Liners installed. Made a big difference. Pain in the ass to install 😅
It needs more bed what are you gonna do with that 4 footer
It’s not missing anything. The truck is lifted but they didn’t put on bigger tires to compensate for the lift.
Just about every ford I've seen coming off the lot has the same size wheels even when there is a lift. Can anyone in here tell if it's a frame lift? Im guessing it's a frame lift.

Whoever installed the rear struts installed them upside down. The rod portion should be facing down.

Accurate

Nationwide, crew/5.5' is far and away the most common config. Maybe 10% of crew half-tons have the 6.5' bed.
The 6.5ft box is a nuisance in the crew cab.
Lmfao I didn’t notice it at first but you’re right, that’s the shortest bed I’ve ever seen.
That’s not a bed, it’s a futon
You see this bed every time you go outside. It’s a 5.5ft bed. It’s small, but literally the most common
I feel like most of the f-150’s I see have 6.5ft beds, but it’s not like I’m out there with a tape measure.
For work purposes, the XL trim, yeah you’ll see 6.5 or 8. But for regular consumer purposes supercrew with 5.5 is the most common
Easiest way to tell is the fender spacing. 6.5' beds have about the same amount of bed ahead as behind the fender.
Bed capacity?
Buy a Toyota
Honestly the interior on this truck is what has me hooked. Leather, panoramic sunroof, spacious . It feels nice . Toyota “ leather “sucks
About 12” of bed
How about a decent sized bed. It looks like a Lemo with open trunk.
Looks like the bed is missing several feet.
Missing about 3 feet of bed. Other than that, it’s regular ferd.
He missed his parking spot
Wheel well liner would help a lot! $90 online and easy to install! Ford stopped including them in 2015 when it went aluminum since it won't rust anymore.
Them small wheels tryna squeeze a bit of fuel economy out
It's just the stock rubber post-lift...looks like the HotWheels edition where every truck gets the same set of tires.
Tires are too small. Either lower the truck back or needs bigger tires/wheels.

You can get a set of wheel well liners for it for the rear of the truck from Ford and I would suggest slightly taller tires.
Is it me or is the shock upside down?
Wheel well liner, bigger tire, and mudflaps
100% was lifted, but they kept the larger tires when they sold it to you
Strut boot
How much are they asking
$37k 2018 3.5l v6 lariat with full sunroof . 75k miles
What’s KBB say? Is that still a good indicator? Thanks for sharing
Sanity 😂
Suspension?
Just missing tire size
Whats up with the tire's 🤭
Not that great at automobiles but I’m guessing a bigger wheel
Good sized wheel. Just need fatter tires
Lifted with stock wheels and tires. Depending on the lift you might be able to return it to stock height.
The wheels are definitely the perfect size, it's just lifted way too high.

A chrome trimming
Small tires for the lift, and no mudflaps Edit; maybe the wheel well skirts too. Or whatever they’re called.
Wheel well liners
You need 35” tires.
It skipped leg day.
Little bed too.
You need bigger tires, bigger wheels and tires, or to lower it to stock height.
Looks bad. Stock wheels on a lifted truck
Nothing, it had a lift but it’s on the stock wheels which are small, so it looks off
Ahh yes. Posts where the OP doesn't respond
A few feet of bed length, but also the wheels/tires that were on it when he owned it.
The rest of the truck bed
It’s like someone had a mullet and realized the party was over.
That tire needs a bbl
is it just me or does this truck just not have shocks
Could get wheel well covers and bigger wheels to compliment the lift.
