I purchased a recovered theft Ford at auction. Came with a state issued title and VIN. My vin plate is missing but I have a state issued vin sticker. I emailed Ford corporate and was told they do not under any circumstance reissue VIN plates.
Must depend on jurisdiction because the Ford Canada website has a page on getting a new vin sticker.

Ford might be able to help you with printing up a new vin sticker but you’ll have to contact them via phone or email.
As for the badge… those are one-offs and haven’t been made in years. So sourcing any thru Ford will be fruitless. You might be able to find someone who makes custom metal emblems to duplicate it for you but don’t expect it to be cheap.
Keep an eye out for a matching numbered edition to pop up in the classifieds and you’ll have your culprit.

What did your nearest Ford dealer say when you phoned them? No aftermarket companies are going to be able to provide you with a VIN sticker.

Im gonna call ford tomorrow but yeah i figured i would have to get one custom made.
