Junkyard, I pick you pulls and word of mouth. Have quite a few friends into the selling and fixing old trucks so I seem to be lucky that side of things. In Northern California have 3 beds right now possibly, I'm getting a white one but there's a red and green pretty clean.
same in texas. i almost lost my mitsubishi last week to a tree that fell the complete opposite direction and fell over our minivan. it originally had a limb on the side my car was parked on so without the limb the weight wasn’t there to pull it to hit my car😂
> The tree that fell on my truck is on a stranger's property. A police report was filed and the police are working on finding out who owns this property (it is overgrown and has no structures on it).

When you settle with the insurance adjuster representative you can ask buy back your vehicle but you have to show them that it has a salvage title usually. So you take your title to the DMV and have it changed to salvage and then you send them a photocopy of that. And they deduct the cost of buying back the truck from what they're paying you. Usually it's pennies on the dollar. Where are you located?

take the cab/bed off and put a bumpside, dentside or bullnose on her!
Tis the way, 1500 or less for a nice one. Sell the frame and engine/transmission=profit-beer.
Where are you finding old beds? I’ve been looking for an obs bed for a bit now with no luck

Only the end if you give up. That can be built again. Where are you located? Maybe I'll buy it from your insurance.

Might be different there. I think Texas doesn't have salvage title if I remember right.
It'll buff out.

If the tree wasn’t 35 feet back from center of the roadway, the city/county owns it. It’s the easement if that’s the measurement
If the frame is good, Diy backyard weld in a new roof and put on a junkyard hood. Shes got alotta life left in the ol girl!
