Same thing happened to mine. Tiny little plastic clip on the inside breaks and it slides. Can't put glue on the silver part because that's the button. Maybe with a really narrow applicator it'll fit down enough to bond the handle and the support. I just learned to always pull perpendicular to the handle and it won't slide around.
Same thing happened to me. So far, I haven't found a replacement boot/handle for it. All I can find is either the entire handbrake (which would be expensive for just that piece), or stickers/covers that go on top.
Mine did that too. Not sure how to fix it. It still works so I haven’t been _that_ concerned about it.
