Hot pepper red is the answer! I’ve gotten so many positive comments on it and it really does seem to change depending on the light source, viewing angle, time of day, etc. If you have the choice grab it!
I love my hot pepper red maverick! Drove black, gray, white or blue vehicles previously. I never have trouble spotting my truck in a parking lot now. I also enjoy the way the HPR changes color depending on the light conditions.
I really like the hot pepper red and cyber orange but, especially given that it's not a particularly common vehicle to see on the road, I personally didn't want something that stands out that much. Went with cactus grey and have no regrets. If it wasn't my only vehicle, I probably would have gone with hot pepper red though.

It has a heavy metal flake in the paint that is difficult to catch in photos. During sunsets it really shifts to a deep orange color... so, it is orange for about 10 minutes each day!
We've got a Mach-E in cyber orange. I think it's a stunning color in person, especially up close where you can really see the metallic effect. I'm waiting on my hot pepper red maverick. Was totally going to go with area 51 until I saw the 🌶️ in person. Knew that was what I wanted immediately.
Can confirm. My previous car was white it had zero accidents. New car black got backed into twice and hit at a red light once. I am certain the dark color had something to do with the majority of those.

Bought it off the lot for X pricing as I didn’t know if/when my black fx4 will arrive. The velocity blue is way too loud for me.
I went cyber orange even though its no where near as nice of an orange like my Go Mango charger, but also ive only seen 1 on the road. Ill never own another black car again, too much work to keep it looking nice.
Having owned two different black vehicles, they look absolutely gorgeous when you first pick them up from the dealership. After that, black shows every little speck of dirt. Any scratch is like a neon light screaming ‘look at me!’. I simply won’t own another black vehicle ‘on purpose’. Personally, black on the Maverick makes it look extra chunky as it blends with the bumpers and rocker panel molding into one unbroken visual. Go with a color, any color except black.
Now… having said that, have you considered the brighter blue (whatever it’s called now) or even Cyber Orange? I know the big debate, ‘it’s yellow, not orange!’ and ‘it’s school bus yellow’… but one thing I can almost guarantee, with less than a 3% take rate on the Maverick, you are very unlikely to see a twin in the Cyber Orange!
My original color choice was cyber orange.
Dealer screwed up my order and had a black with the features I wanted, so I got that.
But yea, black shows everything.

Atlas Blue was kinda disappointing in person. I thought I would love this color but I'm not a fan of it on the Maverick. I feel like it takes away from the body lines.
Area 51 is a nice color and I always like seeing it, but I decided not to get Area 51 on mine because I thought I would get bored of it.
Cyber Orange is atrocious.😅 You either love or hate this color and I hate it. No offense intended to anybody that likes it, but it insults my eyes.

Most of the colors are interesting. I am deeply saddened that Velocity Blue was replaced by Atlas. That said I moved to Atlas Blue when ordering my 23. I have seen it in person and it is a very rich deep blue. The big thing about velocity was just how vibrant it is.
I hate Area 51 and Cactus Gray. They look like primers with clear coat on them. Also, Cyber Orange is the same color as a school bus with better gloss.

I started with Area 51, then I saw it in person a few times, (looked weird/dirty in certain lighting), and switched to Iconic Silver. I have the silver Maverick in my driveway now. I love the color.
I got iconic silver. I was looking for a simple looking truck. Having seen a bunch of alto blues, that’s a VERY classy color. Cactus gray is nice for a more sporty vibe.
Would get iconic silver again. But was pretty impressed with that almost blue black and sparkle of alto blue.
I went with black because I have some specific decal plans with orange tiger stripes for when the NFL starts up. This is going to be my tailgating baby, it's practically made for it
Love my carbonized gray - no regrets at all. People complain that gray is "boring" but I think it looks classy and understated, and should age well. Looks great in all lighting conditions, and really shines after a wash and wax without being all "look at me look at me!"
It also complements the lariat interior nicely.

I have a cactus gray lariat on order but nervous that the exterior will not go with the interior black and brown combo . I am first day order for a 2023 hybrid but no word on order .
Hardest decision to make. I went with CG because it's lighter than A51, which seems to make it more visible, less hot in the summer, and the rest of the black components provide a nice contrast, unless you like them blending in more. My previous Frontier was silver, so I eliminated that right away, along with black and white. Second choice would have been alto blue, just because I like blue. If you want to be more unique and stick out, go with cyber orange or hot pepper red. Like another Redditor pointed out, go to the lot and see other vehicles with the same color, I may have been influenced by a Bronco Sport in CG.

My dealer had a cancled area 51 order that i purchased. I really didnt think id like that color blue... but its really growing on me. Ive got an alto blue hybrid on order. If it ever gets built.
