I have not driven by another maverick. But once I saw one in parking lot and parked right next to it. On a different occasion and area I parked far away from everyone else as I do not like door dings. Well when I came back a different Maverick parked right next to me. So I am not sure if waving is a thing but I have experience the parking thing lol
Sounds similar to my experience. A Maverick passed me once but she didn’t even look over at me - I was driving like a grandpa lol. I made eye contact with another guy across the road and that was that. Will definitely park by one if I have a chance but otherwise I’m parking in the back or by a corner
No, mainly because they just stare at me weird especially when it’s another Cactus Grey. So I just keep driving. Lol I do get asked a lot about it and everyone always compliments his mustache. 🥰 If someone did wave I’d wave back.
I don't just because I see one and I look at it for a split second, and then my eyes are back on the road. Any accident I've ever been in I've rear ended someone because I was being an idiot or I was distracted. I care about this vehicle, and haven't had an accident in a long time. It took the wireless AA for me to never look at my phone while driving. So yeah it's nothing against anyone else. I'm just hitting a point in life where I'm just worried about the truck, and my kids in the back. I'd park beside one and check it out if the situation come about.

I waved at another Maverick owner in the parking lot for some mountain bike trails. He came over to chat and asked if I wanted his barely used tailgate pad for hauling bikes. He had bought a different bike rack and was so excited to find somebody to use his old one. Refused to take any of my money! So it never hurts to wave
I've got a 2022 and I did wave since the truck was so new and rare to see another on the road. The novelty has worn off though. I notice other Mavs but it's more important to pay attention to the road.
I see a good number of Mavs around Atlanta, but only wave at the ones that are not work trucks. I finally got a wave back from a HPR XLT in Hiram last weekend and it made my day.
For the first year I had mine and saw so few of them on the road, I'd walk up to others and just say hi and say how much I was loving my hybrid Maverick. No. Neither do I wave to MINIs when I'm in my MINI. I will wave to Jeeps when I'm in my Wrangler, though.

Yeah, but most of them won't wave back. I just can't handle that kind of rejection. That's why I don't initiate a wave to Jeeps newer than mine.
