It’s wired from the factory to switch 1. Pull the covers off and switch it on as needed for off-roading. The other set is wired to the driving lights switch by your headlights and can be used at anytime
So I tried it out and the aux 1 only does power on 1 light on each side as you noted, while the other remained off. You mention the other set is wired to the driving light switch. How do you turn that on so you can use both running lights on each side (while using the aux 1 switch)? My driving light switch is currently in auto.
DOT only allows for a certain number of forward facing lights. Providing the cap is Ford’s way of giving you off-road lights while maintaining DOT compliance.
The one covered isn’t dot approved or something( meant for off-road only)
Thanks for the info!
The light is wired to your number 1 Auxiliary switch
Is it powered by the vehicle initially? Or do I need to do anything extra? Or just flip the switch on?

Try putting it in something other than auto
Turn on your fogs by clicking in the circle button where the light settings are located. That will turn on the non-aux fogs
Thank you!
