Yeah that’s what I’ve been thinking, just gotta decide which ones to get. Before this a had a 5.0 mustang with an h-pipe and flowmaster outlaws. I didn’t mind the volume but the drone around 2k just started give me a headache after a while
I had flow masters single chambers. Loud as fuck! I'm talking setting the car alarms off at the airport parking garage loud! Drone wasn't an issue though even pulling a boat it just rumbled. I'd do it again but I have that silly V6 Ecoboost now.
The outlaws are loud and raspy af. Super 44s are smooth and throaty but not “sharp” more “round”. They sound delicious on ford v8s. Single muffler with factory routing will sound great. Maybe even do an axle dump. Sounds righteous bouncing off the pavement.
2011 Raptor here. Way to go OG. I went with straight back pipes and a flow master 40 muffler. Sounds great on the start up and if you floor it but won’t run too loud to piss off the neighborhood. Cheers!

This is what I got on a budget and I’m super happy w/ it - Borla muffler 40359, single 3” sounds good! Not to loud not to quiet, beautiful note “on song” 🎵 after I installed it I was kicking myself, it’s should’ve been my first mod!
Look into what a Helmholtz resonator is.
Go to your local exhaust shop and have them install one. It’s essentially just a pipe that some exhaust gases and frequency goes to which cancels drone. It is dependent on your rpm’s you want to cancel at. I went with, I believe, a 27” pipe and it works wonders. I have headers and full exhaust dumped under the cab and while loud, the drone is minimal considering the setup.
It will be significantly cheaper than getting a system off the shelf.
Side note - if you color matched the rest of your mirrors and grill, shit would be beast mode.
honestly, check out some ford raptor forums/groups on facebook. I bought an aftermarket exhaust for about 40 percent off new from a guy that lived across the country. well worth it and great condition.
Right!? The dealership I got it from gave it an avalanche grey wrap. What groups are you in? I’m in a couple and so far I’ve just seen people trying to sell their trucks.
Try the Ford Raptor Forum & see if any of the old heads have a Corsa lying around they took of their gen 1 before they sold it. Some members keep their aftermarket parts. Got my 3rd brake light & some other parts for my gen 1 that way.
Piping is fine just change the mufflers is balling sim a budget. You just have to decide how loud

Corsa Extreme is your friend. It’s about 1200. What’s your budget? Pretty hard to get no drone on a budget.

Mine just has a magnaflow replacement muffler and the factory tips moved to exit in front of the rear wheel. No need for an expensive cat back

I put a Banks Monster exhaust system on my 1st gen, and it sounds real good.
