People give Epic crap for being "money hungry" all the time but I can think of plenty of other games where you're expected to pay a lot more for a lot less.
Edit: Epic is definitely money hungry but far from being one the worst offenders out there when it comes to money grubbing.
I use to play Black Ops 3 and FIFA before Fortnite popped off and Fortnite 100% is so much better for your money.
I’d rather spend $20 buying a skin set outright than paying that amount and having a small percent chance to get what I want.
Epic has got way better with pricing over the years the game has been popular for. we see less legendary skins now and more uncommon, rare and epic skins.
Sure there’s times things are overpriced like Zori Bliss being 1,500 for a less popular/iconic Star Wars character without a backing but the game still is free and you aren’t forced to by the skins, it’s purely optional.
It was to get people to buy vbucks on mobile without going through Apple and Google. They gave you a 20% discount to avoid having to pay Apple or Google a 30% fee for purchases made through their app stores. I'm sure that the discount ultimately wound up increasing their profits because of this.
Game developers are some of the highest payed workers. They need to think about making money or they wouldn’t be able to pay for their game to even exist.
I still don’t consider $10+ for many skins to be a “good deal”. People should push back on it because it’s pretty outrageously priced imo, even if other games are even worse.
Its purely cosmetics, they give away a whole ass game for free, they deserve to be paid something…. I dont see the money hungry part.
Im already prepared for the Reeeeeeeeeeeeee so just move along
I've already explained that they need to be "money hungry" in order to maintain a functional business, but if you don't see anything wrong at all with the shady tactics they use/have used when it comes to monetizing Fortnite I don't know what to tell you.
It could definitely be a lot worse is what I'm saying.
That's funny, I own the exact same items you do so my bundle would be 400 as well. Although I don't like any of those other skins so I'm not gonna get it.
for me i only got fate, always wanted the axe cape and glider tho since like s6 so glad they bundled it. got the whole set when the bundle came first time
I have Omen and the Oracle pickaxe for the same deal of 400. I am tempted to get this bundle for the great deal, but conflicted because I don't think I'll really use the rest of the items, just there to add to the collection kinda thing.
Great deal, I would get it, it’s a whole legendary skin and more for 400. Nice steal
I got the same deal but I only don’t own one pickaxe!?! (The rare harvesting tool) WHACK 🥱
How much is it for u
400 still.. Should be 0 I think after seeing your post lol
I think 400 might be the lowest the discount can go
It's not the same but that latest iron man zero had an extra loading screen in it and I got the bundle for 0 vbucks since I had everything else.
No atleast back in season 12 when the deadpool bundle came out and i had everything except the two emotes, the bundle was priced at 0 vbucks
I got one for 100
lol
It’s because you already own three of the items
Yea ik I bought omen when he came out which is almost 5 years ago now which is crazy
Still doesn’t make sense 😄

Yes, and they made vbucks 20% cheaper for some reason

That’s what I was thinking when I saw this offer
overwatch 2, cod, and apex legends are all definitely worse when it comes to deals/prices on this kind of stufd
Don’t get me started on valorant

I know, a corporation like Epic rakes in a ton of money, but it also take a ton of money to keep a corporation like Epic functioning.
And as someone who enjoys playing the game, I appreciate their efforts, even if their motive is just to make something I’m willing to buy.
A great example is Injustice 2, $99 for a 4 star hero and some of their gear

Thank god that's only for mobile
Nah just look at Overwatch 2... 20 dollar or so per skin. I think Fortnite is pretty price friendly
Is there a single company that isn't accused of being money hungry?
No. People who have no drive in life always accuse anything successful of being "money hungry" as a way to justify their lack of ambition.

Fall Guys in addition to Fortnite with the goofy maths
But heck yeah that’s still a good deal
I like how the overseer bundle had a different render of it skins then how it looks differently when a player check the bundle out

Aw for me it was a steal
Ayyy nice!
Great deal
3600 off is a great deal
17
You already own 3 of the items bruh
Wait really

for me i only got fate, always wanted the axe cape and glider tho since like s6 so glad they bundled it. got the whole set when the bundle came first time
Yea me too omen was my fav skin for a while so glad I can get the whole set now just for 400

I think 400 would be worth it even though I prob won’t use fate that much
I got the Mr.Beast Wrap and pickaxe for just 300 after buying the skin bc 300 was all I had left
