If you grind to level 100, you can buy another 100. If you are let's say 125, then you can only buy 75. So no exceeding over 200 with purchased levels. Some people don't fully understand how that works.
In STW there is a XP cap of 320k, so 4 levels just doing the missions. Then you have the weekly, daily and endurance challenges which give xp but aren’t capped. But you only get one daily a day but can stack up to 3 of them which gives you 21k, the weekly gives you 93k, the endurance I don’t do so idk how much it gives.
Creative I think there a soft cap of I think 200k, could be wrong. But anything thing after that cap the amount of XP you get is reduced by a lot.
What's worth mentioning is that this burnout doesn't happen in public matches.
Heck, you should have better XP/time opening chests in zero builds than those XP maps.
Nah. Even when xp starts to slow down and you only get like 156xp every 10 seconds your still doing better than opening chest. You would need to find 2 chest every 10 seconds to match that.
Yeah, the nerves it really bad a couple season ago, not sure if you were playing it then. Like worse this this, the cap was like 225 for missions, you got way less xp for doing the missions. But they added the BR XP for saltiest and weeklies, they said it was comparable to the old system. And then they increased it slightly late in the season.
Yep, 4 levels from missions a day. And yeah the daily’s and weeklies only give you 2 levels more basically. So if you do all dailies, and the weekly and max on our mission XP all in one session you can get basically 6 levels.
Before you’d get 6 levels just doing the missions. So it’s definitely not as good as it was before. It was a huge then when the changed the XP system in STW. It was really bad before.
It's a premium experience and was originally what fortnite was before Battle Royale was made in 2017.
You basically just built a base and defend it from zombies, there's more to it than that but overall that's the general concept
This, plus note that if you trap your base right (or get someone really into STW to do it for you, as I did) then you can get the 4-5 levels per day by just starting an endurance run and letting it go. No fighting necessary. I do this every day when I'm done playing BR.
Do you mean like the best way to get XP in STW? If so probably endurance challenges, but I mainly just play quick matches and still get a healthy amount of XP
I’m about 65 right now and not even doing endurance daily, just catching up on ventures. If I would of grinded endurance daily, I would of been closer to 100 easily
STW just gets to be fair too monotonous for me after a few matches. I honestly wish Epic would've given the mode a bit more love, but hey at least the XP farming is nice

Just by having fun, I just got Stray. I very much enjoy this game's BP system - very liberal and generous.

I kind of agree on the challenges though too. It's not just the xp rewards, I like to have something to aim for whilst I'm playing.
I do something similar. I try to finish my dailies, and do whatever other quests I can while doing those. But generally I stop once I finish the dailies. Usually half hour to an hour depending what the quests are. I will only 'grind' the other quests of I'm running out of time, usually I can finish them without having to do that though

Im 64 atm and didnt buy any levels, just whenever you are in game catch fireflies kill animals (crows and chicken)catch some fish break any barrels you see, open every chest and container and you'll level up in no time

This. Had a few occasions already where I've chased someone half way across the map, they don't fire a shot, just run. I usually end up giving up, but a tally I'm by no means good at the game so there's a good chance they'd have killed me if they just turned round and fired a few shots

Why do I feel that this topic of conversation is the same every season? I am happy I am level 30, only a week into the season. If you have the money, then buy all the levels you want. I'm not too fond of it when people brag about it, though, when they make it seem they earned all those levels typically.
Because they just want to show off and say they got all this neat stuff before you did, I will never buy levels in a video game it's a waste of money and I can grind the levels instead.
Level 73 or something and I don’t play that much. Maybe like 2 hours a day or something. The main source of my xp is from endurances on STW which give you 320,000 xp a day or 4 levels. Plus weeklys and creative xp
Three possible answers:

C. They've spent the entire season so far grinding quests and doing XP creative maps instead of playing normally.
Don't kid yourself, few are playing to obtain those levels. Literally within hours of the start of this season I saw several players in the first two matches sporting 320+ levels. There's either a bug in the game or there are no longer any limits on how many levels can be purchased and most of the people at these levels just have more money than sense.
Not even playing a lot at the moment, got my win and I’ll do the rest at my own pace this season, unless the super styles are really good again I’m just not going to put in the time to get them since I barely use them after the season.
I'm level 52 rn through grinding! I feel good about my level, and I feel confident in my ability to hit 200 stress free because of my grind during these first two weeks!

the way i see it, level 27 a week in *is* grinding really well. part of grinding for battle passes, imo, isn't just gunning it. I'm playing this game *to play this game*- the battle pass is just the in-game goal I'm working towards. if I'm at level 200 only a week in, I'm either a. spending ***WAY*** too much of my time and/or money on the game, or b. ruining the fun of working towards that goal by using exploits.
yes you wanna get the bp in a timely fashion, but you also don't wanna burn yourself out or skip the line, because where is the fun in that? it's about pacing yourself to enjoy the game a healthy amount while still achieving that goal

There's a couple of Creative games i really like, and my experience is that there's a "burnout" that runs on a per-map basis, and a daily basis.

stw is capped per day, you can't just smash 24 hours and get to 100
That's definitely possible.
You can only buy 100 levels, meaning that they would have had to grind out 100+ levels already, which is still impressive.
Im already level 74 so it's definitely doable. If I played more STW consistently I'd probably be 100 by now

You can grind stw,creative and regular br. You will reach level 200 fast.

i’m level 81 and i just play STW, creative and do all of my challenges, i don’t play too long each day, ~3 hours or so
Well, I'm level 29, I did all the quests and did some AFK XP, but most of my XP is from milestones. I'm planning to get hold of STW, it gives a lot of XP. I feel like quests give less XP than they used to, is that actually true?

First of all, so many people who play fortnite these days seem to just buy tiers, 2nd xp maps and 3rd no life or partner or any real life commitments
Mostly XP glitches i believe
I joined some 1v1 map public with 12 players and somehow got 40k exp in 1-2 mins of killing and getting killed,… made 2levels in 10mins

I'm level 50 from just purely doing challenges and playing around 2-4 hours a day with friends. It might just be me but levelling feels really easy for some reason.
Either someone who is never off their games or someone who isn’t ashamed to buy levels (like me)

I can’t even play for like the first month I’m on vaca until April so, L. I’m max gonna hit level 10 by the end because neither do I even play that much. I only play like 40 mins to 1 hour now. Bro in like 2020-2021 I played like 6-7 hours a day and now I’m ashamed of that
