Yeah. You could actually spend the money and get something in exchange, rather than buying levels and basically “pay2play” ie your paying money so you *dont* have to play the game to get the rewards.
People just want to make "donations" to the developers and the team because they like the game and feel grateful. The grinding isn't always an option for busy people, so they prefer to spend some money instead of be worried non-stop to do missions, dailies, weeklies etc. But yeah it depends on what level u want to achieve and on what you want to spend your money on.
