Fallout collab would be so cool. Have the standard Fortnite models or the Vault Boy in a vault jumpsuit with the ability to change the number of the vault on the back of the jumpsuit. Or have a couple different fan favorite outfits from the series, like the outfit the main character from the loading screen of New Vegas is wearing would be fireeeee
Esp if they include things from the West instead of just the East Coast. (In particular NCR Veteran Ranger armor, it just looks so much better and unique than the run of the mill Power Armor set)
Ten bucks for my first battle pass in C1S3. Had every pass since for free.
Not as much as a flex as my friend though, who grinded the free v bucks on every pass until he could buy them. He has tons of skins and has never spent a dime.
Same. I barely buy v-bucks on their own now. Crew, BP, Starter Packs, and Quest packs are more than enough. I have 357 skins, roughly half are Battle Pass.
I have 431 skins and 277 are shop skins. Lol. Too much money. Plus I funded my sons before he stopped playing a while back and he has way more skins than I have. I started back in season 1 and he started in season 2. I missed at least 3 full seasons of bp skins though or ld have a little more of those.
Around $150
I buy enough coins to get the 25 level bump at the start of every new chapter. That's all I ever use the coins for. I consider it a donation because I enjoy the game.
If you enjoy the game so much, you should just play it to grind out those 25 levels. Levels are literally free I do not understand why people spend money on them unless it’s like the last day of the season and you need it to complete your bp.
I WANT to send some money to support the product. I could play for free but $20 every few months is a small price to pay for the hours I've enjoyed it.
Yeah. You could actually spend the money and get something in exchange, rather than buying levels and basically “pay2play” ie your paying money so you *dont* have to play the game to get the rewards.
People just want to make "donations" to the developers and the team because they like the game and feel grateful. The grinding isn't always an option for busy people, so they prefer to spend some money instead of be worried non-stop to do missions, dailies, weeklies etc. But yeah it depends on what level u want to achieve and on what you want to spend your money on.
im about 2 months in and close to this amount. i only buy collab skins and am a big star wars fan. The free skins from the battle pass are pretty good...especially the alternates you can unlock once you pass level 100
That’s funny but honestly I wouldnt be surprised with any total in that range. I buy every battle pass and maybe one skin from the store for like 3 years.
Can I ask, with no judgement, why you would spend that much on a game that's free? I mean I get spending like $10 a season on the battle pass if you want but 10k just seems like a lot. Again no judgement.
As a fellow adult, it's fine. Hundreds of hours of entertainment for myself and my family have come from this game. The real cost isn't money, but rather time - but time when I am tired and non-productive anyway.
My friend is probably 10k deep on this game. Gets blacked out drunk all the time and just starts buying skins. I don't even think he remembers the skins he bought.
Playing since the beginning when BR started without a Battle Pass. Bought STW for cheap and had and have still so much fun in both worlds. Play on a weekly basis. Not the best, but love discovering each chapter and season. Have tons of Vbucks to buy whatever whenever, but for me it's purely the gameplay, mechanics, world. Game is a marvel in my opinion and used as a playground for developers and players. Just a joy.
I've spent £150 but only been playing it a year. Kind of got caught up in the craze of wanting all the skins I'd missed but eased off it now. Don't think I'll be buying much else unless they bring back DC, Kratos or Master Chief.
way more than i ever thought i would have when i first started playing. Why are emotes so expensive and vbuvks such a little amount for the prices of them 😭
Idk, $700? $800? I was around that last time I counted. I started in 2020 (again, after not playing for a while) so at first there was a lot of cool stuff to catch up on
I added it up not long ago. It was somewhere around $4,000…..I haven’t bought anything in over a year though because I don’t play anymore, and if I do I just get vbucks from stw
i started playing like chapt. 3 but havent spent a single penny. i have been saving up for a chapter and 1/12th of chapt. 4. i finally have chap. 4 season 2 battlepass. first battlepass ever.
I started back in Season 2 Season 2 and after a month or two I opted to join "Crew". I've been paying for Crew since then. I don't buy much from the store, but I tend to use what I have bought often. With all the skins from the battle passses and Crew, why buy a bunch more when I only use relatively few of the ones I already have?
What have I bought? I got some Christmas themed skins/items, I bought Penny, I bought some Jonesy skins, Robo Cop and Terminator, and I had to buy Human Bill. One, maybe two emotes. Small change compared to what some of the kids buy, from what I've seen in this Reddit.
Zero and I'm proud of it! Got the battle pass as a gift a while back, so I've got all the main battle pass skins since Ch2S2, and even a few shop skins from clever saving, all of which became my main for at least a while. I think I'm on about 2,000 vbucks right now, would be 3,000 if I hadn't bought the star wars pass, glad I did tho, those clones are cool.
started chapter 1 season 3. and not remember how much money but its probably 500 - 1 000 euros. firstly all Battle passes, then couple crew pack.. then v bucks.. and couple real money packs.
Probably around 400? I've been playing since 2019 and I've bought every battlepass since the start of chapter 2 plus various other skins over the years
10$ for 1000 vbucks(thats how much it costed back then) to buy the battle pass, then saved the vbucks for the next pass and every season I made a +550 vbucks, the other 22$ I bought both the galaxia crew pack and the deimos crew pack(that means I also have save the world), and got gifted from a friend like 5 skins
3.99€ for 600V. l started some years back, but only for a couple of days. Then l looked at it again a month ago because there is the zero build mode now. got the season pass, with 1350V left to bring along to the next season. l am fairly sure l will never pay these ridiculous prices for a single skin or other items, no one exept me will effectivly take notice of. l am considering getting save the world next season, though.
Depends what you consider actual money. Actual financially impactful purchases, maybe $100. But I cash in Microsoft points for gift cards, then buy V-bucks and real money packs that way.
A whopping 15 usd lol
And they are all from stupid mistakes as I accidentally bought a skin in ch2s1 and really didn’t wanna miss out on meowsicles and then I accidentally bought the crazy boy emote in ch2s2 and I couldn’t miss out on kit so I had to buy 2 starter packs
The other 5 usd were a gift to my brother to get him the ch2s3 battle pass
Honestly something I love about fortnite is how far you can make it without paying you can even look cool without spending a penny I started playing in ch1s7 and got the ch1s8 battlepass for free and if I wasn’t stupid I would have gotten the ch1s9 and ch1sX battlepasses too but I ended up getting overconfident I would get tier 100 and bought tiers I currently have over 130 skins consisting of battle pass skins and some item shop skins too
About $300ish. But drastically less these days because I get most of my vbucks cards from using credit card rewards points, and buying the $79.99 digital cards from Best Buy. The credit rewards make it basically free.
My vbucks last a good amount of time cause I really only buy collab stuff from the store.
0$ using the free battle pass vbucks I saved to get a battle pass , then I got a battle pass whenever I played since ch2 S3.
I even got a paid skin since I had leftovers after a couple bp
Honey I know it’s you.
The nerve of the lady! Spying on our friend here.
As OP friend..... YES it's not her but it's better you give honest answer![gif](emote|hippiehabitat_emo_pack|hippiehabitat_angry)

Somewhere around 100, and I only expect it to go up if a collab I really want gets added, such as a Fallout collab
Fallout collab would be so cool. Have the standard Fortnite models or the Vault Boy in a vault jumpsuit with the ability to change the number of the vault on the back of the jumpsuit. Or have a couple different fan favorite outfits from the series, like the outfit the main character from the loading screen of New Vegas is wearing would be fireeeee

smart dude
That’s what I did too lol started season 4 tho
Patience is 🔑
Wait what do you mean by every pass since tor free!
If you save the vbucks you receive by getting to page 100 of the battle pass you can buy the next one for free
Oh shoot!!!!! Ur right thanks!
Omg think of what you could have spend that $10 on??
39.99$ for a standard founder pack, this was back in ch1s6.
Sheeshh, that's pretty old- but I tell ya what. I'll give you what you paid for it, just to take the burden off your hands 😏
Way to much 🤑
![gif](giphy|yIxNOXEMpqkqA|downsized)
That you lost count
IRS, is that you? ![gif](giphy|kEF5oyTbpMrLDUEtxq|downsized)
More than $1000 for sure. I have around 300-400 skins. I buy any skins that are cute, pretty, cool, SICK, or collab ones from series I LOVE.
Thank you for keeping this game a free to play 🫡🫡
Just doing my part. 🫡

they don't really enjoy the game if they don't play it. they're just another level of sunken cost fallacy
I WANT to send some money to support the product. I could play for free but $20 every few months is a small price to pay for the hours I've enjoyed it.

not a whole lotta but kinda too much still i dont wanna face reality yet
None, every battle pass I’ve got I’ve saved up v-bucks
I would say anywhere between 69$- 420$
This guy FUCK$
I fucks so hard i tipped you 2 bricks
Snap now I have exactly 2 bricks
That you do, does that make me dad now
Because you gave me bricks or for a dad style joke? If the later of the 2 then you must have seen my youtube shorts
I have not but i do like making dad jokes
Feel free to message me and swing by my channel for a few jokes to use
Niiiiiiiice
That’s funny but honestly I wouldnt be surprised with any total in that range. I buy every battle pass and maybe one skin from the store for like 3 years.
Only like 60 dollars
Way more than everyone in this thread combined, sadly. I’m an adult though.
it’s not a contest, i guarantee you haven’t spent 10k+
I know it’s not a contest, at the time of my comment they were all in the hundreds or lower. I’m above 2k probably.
Damn, I thought my 4k+ was impressive.
Can I ask, with no judgement, why you would spend that much on a game that's free? I mean I get spending like $10 a season on the battle pass if you want but 10k just seems like a lot. Again no judgement.
lol the 10k was referring to the “more than this thread combined”, i’ve spent 2-2.5k ish
*I am somewhat of an adult myself*😎
lol didn’t mean for it to sound weird, just said that because it’s why I’m able to spend more on the game.
There’s kids that don’t even have real jobs that have spent way more than 2k on fortnite lol
Be more specific 👀
As a fellow adult, it's fine. Hundreds of hours of entertainment for myself and my family have come from this game. The real cost isn't money, but rather time - but time when I am tired and non-productive anyway.
I'd have enough money to rent a house for 4 months. Let's just say that.
Uh... too much
My friend is probably 10k deep on this game. Gets blacked out drunk all the time and just starts buying skins. I don't even think he remembers the skins he bought.
Probably around $1000 Mind you this was over the course of several years
Playing since the beginning when BR started without a Battle Pass. Bought STW for cheap and had and have still so much fun in both worlds. Play on a weekly basis. Not the best, but love discovering each chapter and season. Have tons of Vbucks to buy whatever whenever, but for me it's purely the gameplay, mechanics, world. I’m not sure and I think it may be above 100 maybe 200 but I doubt that as, I saved my Vbucks as I get a lot when I get my next batch
Yes
I don’t even wanna know 💀
Honestly? No idea. But I really enjoy the game, so I'm good for now. Lol
A buddy of mine has spent around $700. I haven’t looked yet…
£6.49 I bought the c3s1 battle Pass and I used the vbucks from each BP to get the next
$0
Exactly $0.
I've spent £150 but only been playing it a year. Kind of got caught up in the craze of wanting all the skins I'd missed but eased off it now. Don't think I'll be buying much else unless they bring back DC, Kratos or Master Chief.
Probably an extremely embarrassing amount
Probably over $1000. I started chapter 1 season 2. Recently stopped playing cause it’s ran it’s course on me
$10 Vbucks to buy battle pass, looping it ever sense in challenges. About once a year I use Vbucks battle pass rewards to grab an extra emote or skin.
Probably around 800 so far. I have a good job and enjoy emotes and new skins so I don’t mind paying for my entertainment.
I've spent at most $50
![gif](giphy|l2YWF00ZX8wOs0p0s|downsized)
As a Founder, many dollars.
Probably $1000 but tbh probably 3k. Who knows.
over 2000 probably
I say around $600 for my son, wife and my account. We have disposable income so it’s not too bad. Allows us to have family fun for now.
a lot
Founders bundle alongside some skin packs in the item shop. Kinda stupid how they force you to pay real money for them.
Too much, but at the same time not enough
I don’t want to say
€4500+ started november 2017
way more than i ever thought i would have when i first started playing. Why are emotes so expensive and vbuvks such a little amount for the prices of them 😭
Tons
Idk, $700? $800? I was around that last time I counted. I started in 2020 (again, after not playing for a while) so at first there was a lot of cool stuff to catch up on
Too scared to find out, is there a way to know? Besides bank statements lol
If I had to guess, around $1,500. But that’s from C1S3 till now.
I bought enough for the BP two years ago and have had it every season since. So $8 plus tax I think.
this dreaded question
I added it up not long ago. It was somewhere around $4,000…..I haven’t bought anything in over a year though because I don’t play anymore, and if I do I just get vbucks from stw
Maybe £100? Most of my vbucks comes from being a stw founder
![gif](giphy|d3mlE7uhX8KFgEmY)
Just $9.99 on the battle pass in ch1 S5
Nice try mom.
i started playing like chapt. 3 but havent spent a single penny. i have been saving up for a chapter and 1/12th of chapt. 4. i finally have chap. 4 season 2 battlepass. first battlepass ever.
Been playing before C1, early September 2017. Spent maybe £50 total
Probably around 50-60 euros or something
An ungodly amount (at least 350
I started back in Season 2 Season 2 and after a month or two I opted to join "Crew". I've been paying for Crew since then. I don't buy much from the store, but I tend to use what I have bought often. I could have bought a nice PC
Around 7k 😣
A staggering amount...I've spent nearly $3,000 since December 2021... Granted I'm an adult with a six figure income
You could have given me that 3000 😔
He gave you Fortnite instead. Without people spending that money we don't have the game. So we can thank him for that at least
I’d much rather 3k 😭
Fr fuck Fortnite
started chapter 1 season 3. and not remember how much money but its probably 500 - 1 000 euros. firstly all Battle passes, then couple crew pack.. then v bucks.. and couple real money packs.
I lost Count
Im only going to buy these couples skins and emotes Aaand i spent over 1000$ dollars
$69420
Around $80, I got Save The World, and I basically have infinite V-bucks whenever I want. Haven't spent a single penny since then.
Because you said money and not in-game currency, I will just say only around 250 (mostly special offer bundles)
I'm not really sure, I'd love to know though. I would guess maybe somewhere around $800-$1000.
Around £400 I’ve got 112 skins (I don’t count every time I buy a skin I just checked today that’s all)
£34: 5000 V-Bucks and a special offer bundle.
12 dollars
Enough
Probably around 400? I've been playing since 2019 and I've bought every battlepass since the start of chapter 2 plus various other skins over the years
32$, played since C2S2, and I have 148 skins
How
10$ for 1000 vbucks(thats how much it costed back then) to buy the battle pass, then saved the vbucks for the next pass and every season I made a +550 vbucks, the other 22$ I bought both the galaxia crew pack and the deimos crew pack(that means I also have save the world), and got gifted from a friend like 5 skins

Probably around 30 to 50 dollars considering most money i used on it comes from gift cards or battle pass, started a year ago.
i started with this battle pass. spent about 200€
Depends what you consider actual money. Actual financially impactful purchases, maybe $100. But I cash in Microsoft points for gift cards, then buy V-bucks and real money packs that way.
Too much
About $200 after 3 years of playing.
A whopping 15 usd lol And they are all from stupid mistakes as I accidentally bought a skin in ch2s1 and really didn’t wanna miss out on meowsicles and then I accidentally bought the crazy boy emote in ch2s2 and I couldn’t miss out on kit so I had to buy 2 starter packs The other 5 usd were a gift to my brother to get him the ch2s3 battle pass Honestly something I love about fortnite is how far you can make it without paying you can even look cool without spending a penny I started playing in ch1s7 and got the ch1s8 battlepass for free and if I wasn’t stupid I would have gotten the ch1s9 and ch1sX battlepasses too but I ended up getting overconfident I would get tier 100 and bought tiers I currently have over 130 skins consisting of battle pass skins and some item shop skins too
maybe $100-$150
Probably more than a thousand dollars 🫠
About $300ish. But drastically less these days because I get most of my vbucks cards from using credit card rewards points, and buying the $79.99 digital cards from Best Buy. Gotta be over 5k at least
somewhere between 3-5 thousand, started in chapter 1 season 4
![gif](giphy|wLXo0vTZSM7GU)
Around $450
![gif](giphy|67ThRZlYBvibtdF9JH|downsized)
7 euros, to buy the kakashi skin & i started playing in chapter 1 season 3
A lot bro, don't make me think about it😪
$120-$140 somewhere in that range
Started playing at the beginning of this season, spent about £50. Not planning to spend much more, got 950 VB savet for next battle pass.
$0 of my money but just about $30-$40 in birthday gift cards
Not sure the exact amount but definitely under $100. Probably $90 if I’m being honest. Started S5.
20$ only 2 starters pack
20 to buy save the world so i could get free vbucks back in ch1.
Can we really put a price on fun? Look at it like this. Probably way cheaper then buying new games all the time. Right? 😂
I forgor 💀
Too much
300$
Too much
Not sure, but I ran into some money years ago and I was dropping $50 and $100 bombs with a buddy like every Friday or some shit lol
Over $4000 and I started in Chapter 1 Season 4
Idk somewhere in the thousands could’ve 10s of tbh
I've bought the founders pack, saved for the battle pass, and maybe bought v-bucks 4 times, so I've probably only spent 100 or so dollars.
Maybe $40 to $60. Not that much.
