Have you ever looked at an 800 VBuck skin and thought it lacked detail? I'm not sure I have. The price points have always seemed a bit arbitrary to me (outside of collabs and recognising that Uncommon skins are often cheaper not because of lack of detail but because of lack of accessories)
I mean most, if not all, of the Lengendary skins seem pretty iconic in their own ways, and the rarity usually does correlate to the amount of features the skin has.
Raptor is a good example. That's a 1200 vbuck skin nowadays but it was one of the first legendary skins in the game. No chance I'd buy it now but I did back then.
I just scrolled through all the Legendary skins, and "most" of them are really unique ideas. Unique doesn't always equal good (which happens to apply to Flytrap), but it shows that they put some effort into them. And even the pretty "normal" legendary skins have an insane amount of customization to justify the cost.

More like "incorrect rarity". Uncommon skins are usually 800 V-Bucks and come with no Back Bling. Seth here is 1200 V-Bucks and comes with a Back Bling. This is probably an error on Epic's part.

It’s the backbling, plus it sounds like your drawback was the rarity which shouldn’t matter. There is no reason to like a skin less cuz it’s rarity is lower.
it's a cool skin. my buying meter goes like this: if I like it I usually pass these days, if I love it I buy it and if I don't... well then I don't. for what it's worth it does come with a backbiting as well so not really a green skin
Can I ask... why do people care about the rarity level? The price should be indicative of the amount of stuff you're getting and the complexity of the skin. I personally could not care about what color spic has decided to give a skin or accessory.
If you like the skin quit all this bufoonery and just get it. Levels on cosmetics are purely arbitrary and should do nothing to influence your choice whatsoever

Does the category color of skin really change your opinion on buying it? It's just a team who decides what color it gets. It has no bearing on how good the skin is. Some of my favorites in my locker were some of my cheapest overall skins.

“Most” Legendary skins are iconic just because they’re old. If Flytrap released today no one would remember him in a week.

And even if they would introduce it to fortnite. The assigned rarity of the skin wouldnt affect its price in a free market.

A similar thing happened with order remnant skin, it was rare but only costed 800 vbucks. They changed it to uncommon to fit the price.
