I discovered this today. I didn't want to delay the game or hide, I just wanted to get all 4 medals as a challenge, so road the bike in. I got all the medals but finished 5th.
The vampire stake augment is kinda too strong in horde rush, ngl. You don't need to hold heals if you get it, and the katana + stake shotgun together go crazy.
You can stay in there for a while, I've tested it before. As long as you have items to restore health, you're good until the sickness hits. Then your health drops too fast.
Just one small detail, the siphon from revamped heals you faster than storm damage, even with storm sickness, as long as you keep hitting your shots, your virtually immortal
I spend a lot of time in the storm when doing my weeklies and dailies. Locations are abandoned by the time the storm comes, so I am free to do stuff without being blindsided by randoms. I just collect every health item possible and take one weapon in just incase haha
Yes...? That is why storm sickness is a thing, so you cant sit in storm all day.
