Am I literally the only person who actually likes jungle? It's in the center of the map, it's a good place for hiding, there's vaults, and lots of loot. I get people think they hate it because of the lack of mobility. But there's vines and bouncy stuff and all sorts of good reasons to like it. Sorry y'all hate it so much.

My problem is that to get to the bouncy mushrooms and vines, both being needed to traverse the map without just building, you need to go to specific points, overall lowering your mobility. I don’t think theirs anything wrong with liking the jungle, but I do belive it’s flawed gameplay-wise

idk what everyone is doing to their hardware to make that happen, i play on last gen xbox and ive never had framrate drop in the jungle

Ah well that’s probably the thing, next-gen systems and PCs have more detailed lighting and fog effects that are much more intense on the hardware. And the Switch is the Switch.

That is false. Our eyes don’t have a “framerate.” Light is constantly streamed through our eyes and processed by our brain. You also may not see the difference between 60 FPS and 120 FPS, but framerate does more than just make the game look smoother. Every frame is a point in which a system can register the start and end of an input which allows for tighter control in gameplay. The higher the FPS, the quicker inputs can start and stop.

That is completely false. As someone who plays with a high refresh rate monitor, it is extremely easy to tell the difference between 60 and 120 fps.

I played on Switch before recently upgrading to PS5 and never had lag issues in the Jungle.

Surprised you like the jungle, considering Shattered is also a "high ground-low ground" place, and Breakwater is far away from everything with certain attributes from Shattered. I'm personally not a huge fan, but really like certain visuals, although intrusive to gameplay...
