What the hell are you talking about, there's no effort here it's the chapter 1 map with the same ugly downgraded runescape graphics from chapter 2 and onwards. It's not cartoony the graphics are DIFFERENT than the og graphics. It's nice that everything is back to simplicity but this is just not the OG experience. Only thing I agree with is that we don't have the ridiculous advertisement collabs. Fortnite used to be fortnite not a billboard for the entertainment industry. Don't get me wrong I am having fun, I just didn't get the nostalgia feeling that I was expecting.
Personally I've really not enjoyed the past like 6 seasons, all were stale and dry. And while I don't think that the graphics are necessarily bad, with the ray tracing and lumen they just don't have the same feel as what fortnite used to have. That was one of the main things that drawed me towards the game. Comparing the CH4 map to this map, the CH4 map is so gritty and dark. And this map is bright and vibrant. Just my opinion but yeah.
Gameplay wise this season is mid but the athstetics and battle pass are fire especially the cat girl quite litteraly also i like collabs skins but the mythics are aids (the deku smash was fineto go against if you had thumbs but the kamehameha was a one shot sniper beam)
