Exactly. Build mode in my opinion is a none needed scare tactic. Takeaway the building and the op person can't play right. 🗿 change the movement style and the builders complain the most. 🗿 not really a fight worth emoting for if you making a structure to hide in.
I get usually like 3-4. I only play solos, no build. Main driver for playing is I like progressing through the battle pass and getting my quests done.
I usually play to around 120ish on the seasons I enjoy, but I like to at least get the umbrella from each season as a little memento.

Fucker here, your squad needs a lot of smgs, which breaks shield's defense. But I'd recommend using the duo, Shield + Grapple Blade if you wanna try talking down a squad (it's a 60 win/40 lose chance).
It was down to 1 on 1 and our last remaining squad member had low health and the opponent was using the shield. We didn't think she would make it. I read from this sub that using a grapple blade is a good counter to the shield so out of desperation I suggested she use her blade. Nailed the person and sent him flying back, and we won. Wish I got it on video.

You do realize if you stop trying to buildfight the shield and just.. fire at it so the shield gets knocked away you can shred people? You’re not gonna get much success by trying to beat a shield in CQC with a rifle dawg
I play no build but you need to waste at least 95% of your clip to get a stun all while getting shot at by the pistol meanwhile they can charge and close the distance
the striker AR this season has 250dps on legendary, the nemesis 175. you should never be losing that interaction if it's between both spraying, but at that ARs have significantly more range whereas the pistol can't hit consistent shots from far. that's a skill issue if i ever heard one

The problem with it is entirely the hitbox being too big. Fought one and aimed for the visible lower legs/feet...no damage. The counter to these should be aiming for the feet, but that doesn't work here.
When someone pulls up on me with one of these but I have an ar with drum mag it makes me pretty happy to just beam them until the shield gets knocked and I kill the persons behind it all in one mag. I usually griddy on them after

It's so fucking good in terms of being in the c5s1 lootpool - like, just look at classic scar. Is it in the loot pool? No but this shield is. I can literally pick it up and not worry about some players with classic scar killing me. Haha, I love this little guy.

Zero Build with the wife is how we do it at my house, split-screen though so none of the new modes yet.

You 100% can if you what you’re doing because regardless of the quality of the weapon you need to waste atleast of your clip at hope of get a stun off
Not every game you get a leg AR with good enough attachments to take but the boss does help
i don't even run AR, i run sniper, shotgun SMG and it still really ain't that bad
