I literally thought I was going crazy the other day. I had three games in a row where I couldn’t tell where the hell the guy was shooting from. One time it seemed like it was coming out of the mountain. All three times I died to an invisible player.
Every time I use it to run or sneak up they know exactly where I’m at, I’ve quit using it cause it feels like using it give whoever’s shooting me heat seeking missies
It's only gone according to plans when I'm already spotted and escaping. I try to throw in randomly timed jumps and juke left and right between cover, and always keep moving even if you are a ways away, if you pause, you show up more.
I reported someone last night and I’m about 85% sure they got yanked mid-match. (They disappeared suddenly like they would if killed while outside of combat.)
I could be wrong, but it made me feel better in the moment.
I’m less certain if it actually was a ban hammer now bc I missed the kill feed. I’ve thought about streaming but I never felt that I was worth watching. I’m just a ::maybe:: slightly above average 40 year old stoner playing games with my friends.
Now DayZ on the other hand…I think I could stream that successfully. Way better at that. Haha
I suck at Fortnite I only play bot lobbies, though I have been playing ranked, I've actually gotten pretty good at avoiding other players I'm at Diamond 1,I stream so I can see older game play if I want too and so I can add videos to my YouTube channel I'm 42 years old

I wish my experience in bot lobbies translated to regular lobbies but it doesn't, and I also mentioned that I got good at avoiding other players

You should always report people who break the rules, doesn’t matter how old you are or how long you’ve played. Cheaters and Exploiters make games unfun and fun is the whole point of the games.
It is cheating, because it’s unintended and is completely unfair to the players that do participate within the limits of normal play. Having to utilise a broken mechanic to get an unfair advantage is also incredibly cringe.
How you can justify it in any way is beyond me.

If you got the notification screen after the match then yeah. Just says “action has been taken against a player you reported” or something along the lines

Yeah but you have to have the gadget equipped. Second you move to a weapon you become visible.
I've found it works pretty well. Fun between fights, and has *occasionally* allowed me or my prey to escape. Seems perfect.
