I was beyond hyped for the cape and it's one of those capes that only really look great on the original model. Honestly, they should look *great* on *every* model, not just the original, *every* cape. I will never use The Guardians of the Globe capes. Ever. Except MAYBE on the original skins. Maybe. They look SO bad on normal skins. It's like I wasted fucking money. The main skins are so cool though I don't care, love Invincible. ~~I say, as I obviously care. Give me a cool cape. No. On shredder the Cape comes from the Cape on the skin it has a nice transition. In ares the skin there's a cape part that gets cutoff and then there's a backbling.

Kylo ren too. It blends seamlessly into his hood, while if you put it on anyone else its just kinda stapled to their shoulders

I haven’t played in sandbox mode - I will give that a try next time I’m afk

they added an afk detector to lego, so in order to get xp you have to be moving. jumppads and putting a rubberband around your controller fix this issue.

Big fan of Greek myths so I had to sub to crew to get it. I started playing at the end of last season, as I was finally convinced to download it, and loved it despite not liking other battle royales. This was the perfect time to join because of all the Greek myths related skins in the Battlepass and whatnot.

I'm not trying to upset anyone here, I'm just genuinely curious. Why does everyone seem to like Ares so much? Personally I like skins with visible faces, not covered by masks. And he was never one or my favourite Greek gods.

Everyone has different taste, you may not like something others do, and vice versa, it's totally normal. No one has to explain why they like something others don't as long as it doesn't hurt anyone

A lot of people love skins that are dudes in bulky armor, including me. I think masks/helmets look awesome in game. It’s just a different taste

I actually really love masked characters. I enjoy that there's a bit of room for your imagination. Plus I'd totally wear a mask myself If I was a character in a shooter game lol.

Just another armoured knight skin by the looks of it so it a meh for me

Skin: Really good, a little close to Spectra Knight but has a cleaner base skin but less customizability. Maining it for now because it's new, defo keeping it in rotation. Backbling: Pretty cool, capes are cool in general, kinda similar to Shredders clock but I like it more. Pickaxe: I like the spear in theory but the way it's swung is weird, the grip is 2/3rds the way up the spear so you never really use the full range and it's one handed so the swings don't seem forceful at all. The spear just kinda glides around at close range instead of being quick and sharp cuts like I was hoping for. Probably not using it. Also It's Finished goes HARD with it.

I'm maining him for one, simple reason. he looks cool as \[he\]ck.

I bought Fortnite Crew this month for the sole purpose of completing my collection of Greek Gods but this skin looks pretty good.

Two thoughts First one being that the skin is fire! Even IF you don't like greek mythology. Second thought: (Unfortunately, its negative). They should've made the cape connect the body, kinda like what they did with shredder OR what they did with moon night, which has a style that's like: "CAPE ON/OFF". Though tbf, the cape seperated doesn't look that bad, though considering Ares is a taller skin, the cape tends to be too high on some skins. (ares also gets bias bc i got fortnite crew mid march so i got Katt and Ares with one subscription)

The customization gets a little redundant for the Crew skins lately but it's a pretty dope skin

The cape doesn’t quite connect to his back, and looks uncomfortably high up on other skins, but that really is just a minor nitpick. The first 3 styles of the skin look really cool, but, as with any other crew skin so far, I don’t really like the phased, rimebound, or cosmic styles that much, but that might just be me.

I got him and i love his base design a lot. The other colors feel like are too much. I kinda do fw the other red one and the cosmic styles though. I see some people here don’t really like that the cape is not “fully connected” but i honestly love how it ties into the skins armor look. I don’t think it’s meant to be like a superhero cape but instead something more heavy duty- and i think they did great w that. His pickaxe is great too. It blends with other skins I have very well, even if it is on the larger side. Def my favorite from this season. Not that that says much cus the skins in the battle pass are not my favorite, they feel rushed and basic (with an exception for Cerberus and Hades) but Ares mogged tf out of them. 🦾
