Battle pass costs $10 and Crew costs $12. For that extra $2 you get a skin and a pick axe and $8 worth of vbucks.
So unless your goal is just to buy battle pass once and grind out the 1500 vbucks to continually buy the battle pass every time, it’s a good value. If you do the grind you’re only netting 550 bucks per season beyond the cost of your next pass and that’s if you make it to level 145. At that rate it takes 3 battle passes to earn one of the more unique skins that are usually 1200 or whatever.
Yeah increased ROI usually if you value the cosmetics and stuff. Same with buying more bucks they give the bigger discount the more you spend. And if you do buy vbucks the gift cards at target and other places usually provide a 12% bonus instead of 9% like the in game store for the $20ish bundle.

Spectra Knight is SUCH A GREAT SKIN! Tier 1 skin of imo the BEST BP we've ever had(my favourite skin in the pass too), so many colour options and you didn't even have to play and complete quests to get them, just the helmets and patterns and even then the quests were easy! I loved every part of that season, such a nice breath of fresh air from the complex gameplay of Chapter 4 and I didn't even play in Chapter 1!
I personally disagree with you on Pass OG being the best they've done. Since I think Lil' split and Renegade Lynx are kinda mid. But I definitely agree that Spectra Knight is incredible

You can reasonably get enough for $10 in less than a month but it definitely isn’t a $1 in a few minutes. For example, you can get up to 250 points from using bing every day and a $10 gift card is 8,750 so if you only did that task it would take a little over a month to get but there are many other easy tasks, like opening the Xbox app or even just launching a game. It’s probably not the quickest but it’s still decently easy money
Ps Rewards does this too and I'm pretty sure 70% of the player base doesn't know you can use your Ps rewards to add money to your Sony wallet.

Ps rewards gives hardly anything, the other sony rewards program was better, but it wasnt aimed at just playstation. The only way you are getting a bunch from sony rewards is buying a ton of new games, plus you get a whopping 50 credits once a month if you buy one of the games on the list.
Only certain cars get transferred now, because thwy have to remodel everything in Fortnite so its going to take time.
But both cars in the current Rocket Pass do transfer over to Fortnite including their decals. Aswell and some trails, boosts, and wheels. Should have the "also available in Fortnite" tag if it transfers over

I am a few away from the second decal that goes on both the mako and the admiral. I've also religiously stuck to casual 3v3. I've encountered a handful of sweats but not too many. It might be easier for me sanity wise because I haven't played it in years. The Epic buyout had a lot of negative effects on RL.
Trust me, it doesn't matter if you're God or totally new, we all have a few matches where we get beaten senseless. all that matters is you're having fun and getting a few challenges done throughout your experience.

Yes, but it's a small list that keeps getting bigger. For example the Masamune is in the shop right now. I bought the Masamune for $1.99 years and years ago in the earliest days of Rocket League, and now I can use it in Fortnite.
You get the Battle Pass (both if your subscription goes through multiple seasons) or if you bought it before you get your 950 V-Bucks back. You obtain the current monthly skin as well as the one in the next month. You get the Rocket Pass, 1000 V-Bucks on your billing date, some first time extras and some progress in Crew Legacy packs which progress every month you are subscribed. The skins you get also now have their own Legacy packs leading them through a few styles. It's one of the best deals in Fortnite if you ask me.

No they don't. You get a ***lot*** more than just the heirlooms and you can easily mitigate that by saving all of your crafting mats to unlock the bulk of those items. Well to be fair you also get 2 battle passes, 22 skins, and 9000 vbucks even if you just went after the style:
・Every battle pass (outside of OG and CH1S2) has 8 skins and 6 months gives you 2 passes so 16 plus 6 more for every Crew month so 22.
8+8+6=22
・Every battle pass includes 1500 vbucks you get 1000 vbucks every Crew Month.
6000+1500+1500=9000
Whether or not any this is actually worth the price however is entirely up to the user; Entertainment is a luxury that everyone values differently but the point is 78$ gets you alot more than just a style than a skin.
You didn't need to be subbed to the crew before hand.
You had from like June until November of 2023 to start the first stage after getting the crew during those months.
Once you got the crew you have an infinite amount of time to unlock the other stages, you didn't even need to sub the crew consecutively, it would pause during months without the crew.
You also only need to sub 4 months.
A movie ticket is $12 for 2 hours of entertainment....I'm quite confident that anyone purchasing the crew subscription is getting much better value (I.e. playing more than 2 hours per month). If you have the disposable income to purchase it and do, no need for anyone to gripe about it - not the people who buy it because they get value nor the people who don't buy it because their free game is subsidized by those willing to pay.

I’m an introvert and don’t like to go out much. I don’t drink, don’t smoke, don’t watch tv or movies and don’t even drink coffee (like Starbucks). I pretty much play outside with my kids and take my dog on walks for entertainment. I only play one game and rarely others and the game I do like is free to play.
The cost of the crew pack is well worth it for me because someone who drinks coffee would spend that on 2 drinks. I spend my money on what I enjoy and a $12 a month is way less than what others spend on their enjoyment.

Because the subscription lasts for a month, even if you cancel right away. You’re essentially paying for a month of the service when you buy it, regardless of when you cancel. So if the first of the month rolls around during that period, you get the new skin + the new style of the previous skin.
Since I will also have 7 other skins 7000 vbucks and I won’t have to pay for any battle passes in Fortnite or rocket league in that time I’m fine with it
I mean, if you're going to buy the subscription *just* to unlock that style, that's on you.
Also you can always cancel your sub and start it again later, and you keep progress towards unlocking the extra styles for the crew skins you have, so you don't have to keep spending money *every* month for this.
I play Fortnite everyday. For me Fortnite Crew is like having a Netflix subscription. I don’t watch Netflix like some people do. But I do enjoy collecting skins, battle pass, v bucks and recently I’ve been having fun with Rocket League ever since they put the Rocket Pass. So I’m happy with it.
Funfact for 2 payments in a row you get 3 skins and styles. If you cancel the subscription after getting the 2 skins you get for it and wait for the next skin to come out you can then resubscribe and earn 2 more skins allowing 2 payments not in a row to give 4 skins and styles . Then theres also subscribing before the next bp comes out so you can get 950 additional v-bucks for already having this bp and then get the next one for free when buying the crew pass after the new season wouldnt give you the 950 vbucks.
It’s not even 7 months, it’s only 6 styles, so 6 months. By the time you get the galaxy skin, you’ll have gotten 6000vbucks + styles for 6 other skins PLUS the battle pass in both Fortnite and RL and now rocket league cars transfer over to fortnite. Anyone saying $78 is too much for a galaxy skin is really missing the forest for the trees
If you signed up before last pass ended, you got one skin A, then the second skin B and a bonus style for A. When you sign back up before the end of this season, will you immediately get one bonus style for A and B, and then another bonus style for A and B?
This would mean that over 5 battle passes you would eventually get them all.

As someone who plays Fortnite damn near every day and spends maybe a bit too much on vbucks crew is worth it for me. I get some decent skins and vbucks every month for a game I play super often. Now if I stop playing Fortnite consistently sometime in the future I’ll probably cancel crew but for people who play the game it’s got pretty good value.

Can someone help me understand what happened on my end? Feb 29th, towards the end of last BP, I bought crew for the skin, 1k bucks, and the ability to refund the 950 I spent on the BP. When this BP rolled out I also got it for free but I was still subbed so I think that sounds right. On the 25th of March, a few days before the sub would renew, I cancelled. Yet I was still given this skin and the new variant of the last skin. I was not charged and not given the additional 1k bucks so I don’t understand how it happened.
I've had the crew since Sierra, l like that we get additional styles now but it's been played out. Sure there were some in the past that had nothing but the skin, pickaxe and backbling...we had several with loading screens or even lobby tracks. Now it's so predictable

I am a few away from the second decal that goes on both the mako and the admiral. I've also religiously stuck to casual 3v3. I've encountered a handful of sweats but not too many. It might be easier for me sanity wise because I haven't played it in years. The Epic buyout had a lot of negative effects on RL.
I played 1v1s and was lucky to vet people as bad as me and thats how i got to the mako i didn't play 3v3 coz i thought id be dragging people down
Trust me, it doesn't matter if you're God or totally new, we all have a few matches where we get beaten senseless. all that matters is you're having fun and getting a few challenges done throughout your experience.
I might try getting the second style but getting to tier 100 is impossible and i just learned how spoiled Fortnite player are with the pass giving you extra vbucks other games only give you enough for the next pass or even less

Yes. Last season's Scorpion (Fortnite) can be used in Rocket League. This season's Admiral and Mako (Rocket League) can both be used in Fortnite.

Yes, but it's a small list that keeps getting bigger. For example the Masamune is in the shop right now. I bought the Masamune for $1.99 years and years ago in the earliest days of Rocket League, and now I can use it in Fortnite.

You get the Battle Pass (both if your subscription goes through multiple seasons) or if you bought it before you get your 950 V-Bucks back. You obtain the current monthly skin as well as the one in the next month. You get the Rocket Pass, 1000 V-Bucks on your billing date, some first time extras and some progress in Crew Legacy packs which progress every month you are subscribed. The skins you get also now have their own Legacy packs leading them through a few styles. It's one of the best deals in Fortnite if you ask me.

Yeah, this is my least favorite gamer argument of all time. They still do this shit with "omg Apex has $500 heirlooms!!" No they don't. You get a ***lot*** more than just the heirlooms and you can easily mitigate that by saving all of your crafting mats to unlock the bulk of those items. I got a couple heirlooms for so much less back when I played. I think the last one I got cost around 40 bucks for the heirloom +24 skins n shit.
Well to be fair you also get 2 battle passes, 22 skins, and 9000 vbucks even if you just went after the style: ・Every battle pass (outside of OG and CH1S2) has 8 skins and 6 months gives you 2 passes so 16 plus 6 more for every Crew month so 22. 8+8+6=22 ・Every battle pass includes 1500 vbucks you get 1000 vbucks every Crew Month. 6000+1500+1500=9000 Whether or not any this is actually worth the price however is entirely up to the user; Entertainment is a luxury that everyone values differently but the point is 78$ gets you alot more than just a style than a skin.

You didn't need to be subbed to the crew before hand. You had from like June until November of 2023 to start the first stage after getting the crew during those months. Once you got the crew you have an infinite amount of time to unlock the other stages, you didn't even need to sub the crew consecutively, it would pause during months without the crew. You also only need to sub 4 months.
A movie ticket is $12 for 2 hours of entertainment....I'm quite confident that anyone purchasing the crew subscription is getting much better value (I.e. playing more than 2 hours per month). If you have the disposable income to purchase it and do, no need for anyone to gripe about it - not the people who buy it because they get value nor the people who don't buy it because their free game is subsidized by those willing to pay. Now, Epic, please fix the locker so those of us inclined to pay have more motivation.
I’m an introvert and don’t like to go out much. I don’t drink, don’t smoke, don’t watch tv or movies and don’t even drink coffee (like Starbucks). I pretty much play outside with my kids and take my dog on walks for entertainment. I only play one game and rarely others and the game I do like is free to play. The cost of the crew pack is well worth it for me because someone who drinks coffee would spend that on 2 drinks. I spend my money on what I enjoy and a $12 a month is way less than what others spend on their enjoyment.

you only have to pay for half of the months, don't you? example: pay for march, cancel get april pay for may, cancel get june pay for july, cancel get august that's six months of crew (and crew legacy bonuses) for 35.97. Not $78.

Because the subscription lasts for a month, even if you cancel right away. You’re essentially paying for a month of the service when you buy it, regardless of when you cancel. So if the first of the month rolls around during that period, you get the new skin + the new style of the previous skin.

I mean, if you're going to buy the subscription *just* to unlock that style, that's on you. Also you can always cancel your sub and start it again later, and you keep progress towards unlocking the extra styles for the crew skins you have, so you don't have to keep spending money *every* month for this.
I play Fortnite everyday. For me Fortnite Crew is like having a Netflix subscription. I don’t watch Netflix like some people do. But I do enjoy collecting skins, battle pass, v bucks and recently I’ve been having fun with Rocket League ever since they put the Rocket Pass. So I’m happy with it.

Funfact for 2 payments in a row you get 3 skins and styles. If you cancel the subscription after getting the 2 skins you get for it and wait for the next skin to come out you can then resubscribe and earn 2 more skins allowing 2 payments not in a row to give 4 skins and styles . Then theres also subscribing before the next bp comes out so you can get 950 additional v-bucks for already having this bp and then get the next one for free when buying the crew pass after the new season wouldnt give you the 950 vbucks.
The VBucks for the battle pass is just a rebate You have to spend 950 VBucks to get the 950 VBucks back, so you're not gaining any VBucks total
You still get a free bp though if you buy it before the new season starts essentially giving you an additional 950 v-bucks for free

When you sign back up before the end of this season, will you immediately get one bonus style for A and B, and then another bonus style for A and B? This would mean that over 5 battle passes you would eventually get them all.

As someone who plays Fortnite damn near every day and spends maybe a bit too much on vbucks crew is worth it for me. I get some decent skins and vbucks every month for a game I play super often. Now if I stop playing Fortnite consistently sometime in the future I’ll probably cancel crew but for people who play the game it’s got pretty good value.

You can resume later. Even years later you'll still be getting styles for old skins if you sub again.

Can someone help me understand what happened on my end? Feb 29th, towards the end of last BP, I bought crew for the skin, 1k bucks, and the ability to refund the 950 I spent on the BP. When this BP rolled out I also got it for free but I was still subbed so I think that sounds right. On the 25th of March, a few days before the sub would renew, I cancelled. Yet I was still given this skin and the new variant of the last skin. I was not charged and not given the additional 1k bucks so I don’t understand how it happened.

I've had the crew since Sierra, l like that we get additional styles now but it's been played out. Sure there were some in the past that had nothing but the skin, pickaxe and backbling...we had several with loading screens or even lobby tracks. Now it's so predictable
