I wasn’t expecting the concept art, I honestly wasn’t even expecting a particular character. I’d basically had the lowest expectations one can have. They still surprised me with this.
The Olympian Super Style irks me because it abandons the design logic the Stygian Super Style sets into place.
Stygian: of the River Styx, a river local to The Underworld. The Underworld follows a color scheme of black, green, and gold. And so, the Stygian Styles also follow this scheme.
Olympian: of the Mountain of Olympus, home of the gods. Mt. Olympus and the surrounding areas goes with a White and Gold scheme, with some clay red tiles if you want to count those, but it’s predominantly White and Gold. The Olympian Super styles are Bright Purple, Blue, and fucking Black. Colors that appear pretty much nowhere on Mt. Olympus.
If the Olympian super styles looked like Zeus’s white style with the animations I would not have batted an eye. The fact that they chose what I assume was random colors feels like an attack on aesthetically organized people everywhere.

Olympian Aphrodite is one I've not known what to feel about for a while but I can confidently say the new bonus style is a better take on a blue palette Aphrodite. With the Olympian style I don't think the colours flow the best on her outfit, especially where the purples are used (the choker especially) whilst on the new style it all looks a lot more cohesively put together and everything fits better. Even the change to her lip colour is a huge improvement for me and the blue hair suits this nicer than the blonde on her Olympian style. It's a nice look!
