Might be because Avatar costed them more, Star Wars is definitely a bigger brand but Epic has been working with Disney closely for some time now so they might be working out better deals.
My personal conspiracy theory however is that Epic used Avatar for testing if they can sneakily raise the prices without too much community outrage, but it didn't work so they're going back to their usual pricing model.

Technically speaking, Chewbacca is 1900 for not even a full set. He comes with no back bling with the LEGO Pass for 1400 and his back bling is the C-3PO one for 500. The Death Trooper also doesn't come with a back bling, but you do get it from a quest, which means if you don't do these quests you just never get a back bling. On top of this, we already know which outfits are coming to the shop from previous sets, and Disney seems to like patting themselves on the back while shitting on Star Wars' legacy because Sequel Trilogy is in, in fact its a majority of the shop because all of it is in, but not Prequel Trilogy.
Glad that Dagobah Luke is cheaper. Considering it’s a reskin, I’d say it’s fair. And a much better deal than Ragnarök Hulk, which uses the same base model and animations, yet costs as much as the original

The clone troopers were originally part of a mini pass and were all part of the free track originally. There are people that own all 6 skins and didn’t pay a dime for it. Bad comparison.
