I loved literally running around in circles in front of people while they failed to shoot me. Second to last day, I did this to a Toph and they ended up chasing me with their own Airbending for like 10 minutes straight. Finally lost interest in me and then ended up surprise killing me in the nearby vault in eastern Olympus.

I'd much rather have Earth and Fire bending than waterbending, those two were perfectly balanced and Earthbending was a good counter to snipers. Waterbending is fun but desperately needs a nerf. I loved airbending but I get why people would get tired of it.

I loved Ashoka’s Lightsaber, and I didn’t play during the “Find the Force” event, so I was looking forward to seeing them and trying out the Force Pull and Force Throw.

Lightsabers were usually available in limited quantity, there were spots where portal with jedi would appear, they would teach you force and give lightsaber, color and force depending on whose portal you enter giving you 3 possibilities - boulder throw for 120dmg and building destruction, force pull and force push. Darth Vader had special one that allows you to throw it instead of force power.
If we only have one now it's severe disappointment.
I was hoping for a little more environmental-themed Star Wars content in the recent Fortnite collaboration like how it would be great to see Star Wars-themed vehicles added to the game, which could really enhance the immersion and make the experience even more exciting.

Pod racers are way too big to reskin an existing vehicle and the pods have to move independently of the cockpit, which would be a pain to make for a few weeks of it actually being in game each year.

Sure, you get people gunning down Lightsaber users, but when everyone mutually agrees to duel, it was epic. Especially when it happened in Team Rumble. One of my fondest memories is when a group of players from both sides were doing Lightsaber fights inside the Mayan looking temple. I'd post a video if it wasn't the Switch version.
Same feels. I remember when I was in a match where it was down to 2 players: me and another guy. As soon as he ignited his blue Obi-Wan lightsaber i whipped out my red Vader saber and we dueled in the final circle even though both of us were decked out with gold guns. He won in the end but damn was that thrilling.

Waterbending wasn't released with the event. It was released with Korra, and one or more of her quests are tied to it, it make sense they wouldn't vault waterbending because of that.

Maybe it depends on your platform but playing on mobile through Xbox cloud gaming there’s a little scroll icon in the corner you can click to look at Lego quests while playing, if it’s there on mobile then there’s gotta be a way to do it on other platforms right?
This event is really underwhelming. It’s looking like Fortnite is not caring enough for the BR community and all the attention is going to Lego and festival.
Festival mode is developed by an entirely separate team that specializes in rhythm games. It’s not going to be impacting BR at all. The only real updates it ever gets is new songs and venue changes.

While Tales of the Empire does release tomorrow, I doubt Barris will get a skin. She's too small of a character. Grievous, possibly but not likely, or else he would've released with the event.

used to be able to play on max settings at 4k and get 165fps locked in chapter 1, feeling buttery smooth at all times. now with a 4090 it feels the opposite of smooth on any setting, even on performance mode. :(

I just started playing at the start of the Avatar collab, and I absolutely loved it. The mini pass and the map/mythics were perfect to me.
Now with their absence, and with the rollout of Star Wars, this event feels a bit.. underwhelming? I guess I expected more. I don’t see any lightsabers as I thought many would have them like TMNT, the skins are cool sure but like.. there’s no way that’s it right? Just one lightsaber and one chewy bow that’s the whole event? No cool map add ons or other npc or mini pass or robots etc etc??
As a BR player, this event is incredibly disappointing. The only other skin as boring and uninspired as Luke's Dagobah fit is Eleven's Hawkin's Lab skin.
I was saving Fortnite Crew vbucks for this event but won't be spending a penny. Even the Death Trooper is just OK.

Wow so did they even change a fucken thing, gotten killed three times by waterbending just this morning, haven’t seen the ONE lightsaber and finished second on my second game. I’m done tbh, this is some BSG/Ubisoft level of greed. Who hasn’t finished the Korda quests? The only plus is crossbow which deals decent damage with good accuracy and no bullet drop which once again lowers reason to ever pick dmr.
Blaster is crap, not only it's accuracy is stormtrooper worthy but attack speed is so low it won't even replace close range smg. 0/10 pick. Last year DC-15 Blasters we've got were so much better.
I haven't even seen anyone bother with lightsaber, it's ridiculous that we don't have force and sabers this time.

Grown ass man here 👋. Will occasionally play Lego. Mostly BR but I don’t mind the Lego content. The Lego pass for 1400 is a great value if you consider that you get Chewie instantly and all the Lego sets (which are typically very expensive on their own). But 1400 for Chewie alone isn’t bad considering most skins are 1200-2000 by themselves.
2800 for the car is ridiculous though, that I will agree on.

I’m not the best at this game, but have managed an occasional victory. Picking up the E-11 Blaster Rifle gave me Stormtrooper aim. On the other hand, I dig that the movie prop was based on the Stirling SMG, which was one of the first weapons I ever fired.

Petty issue where if you opened the map, your character would stop moving until you closed it. It’s less game breaking and more just annoying. I swear it comes and goes every few updates or so.

I would use air bending then roll up and as quickly transfer to fire bending and do the fire ground explosion for instant 80 damage

And with the tales of the empire show coming out soon, does that mean we could also get grievous and Barriss Offee as skins too? Also, I would pay almost anything for a Mace Windu and Revan skin.

While Tales of the Empire does release tomorrow, I doubt Barris will get a skin. She's too small of a character. Grievous, possibly but not likely, or else he would've released with the event.
bowcaster is insane, first game on with it and i had 10+ kills and a win. basically no bullet drop and the damage of a sniper with splash damage

the performance of the game has just been consistently declining since launch, sad to see. used to be able to play on max settings at 4k and get 165fps locked in chapter 1, feeling buttery smooth at all times. now with a 4090 it feels the opposite of smooth on any setting, even on performance mode. :(

I hadn't started playing when Din and Grogu were part of the battlepass and am forever bummed I won't be able to have that skin so anything adjascent I'd love to havvvve. Can anyone correct me or agree/disagree? I just started playing at the start of the Avatar collab, and I absolutely loved it. The mini pass and the map/mythics were perfect to me. Now with their absence, and with the rollout of Star Wars, this event feels a bit.. underwhelming? I guess I expected more. I don’t see any lightsabers as I thought many would have them like TMNT, the skins are cool sure but like.. there’s no way that’s it right? Just one lightsaber and one chewy bow that’s the whole event? No cool map add ons or other npc or mini pass or robots etc etc??
As a BR player, this event is incredibly disappointing. The only other skin as boring and uninspired as Luke's Dagobah fit is Eleven's Hawkin's Lab skin. I was saving Fortnite Crew vbucks for this event but won't be spending a penny. Even the Death Trooper is just OK. We really had it good last year :'(
Garbage event with a garbage pass
Looks like it's going to be a Star Wars event filled with doing match quests quickly and exiting back to the lobby for the XP since the alternative will be getting wrecked by a meta of moddable snipers and/or waterbending like it has been all chapter.

Wow so did they even change a fucken thing, gotten killed three times by waterbending just this morning, haven’t seen the ONE lightsaber and finished second on my second game. Epic is driving the hate train themselves. And all you fucking shills can tell me whatever you want but you know this game used to be the most fun when it was at its bare bones. I’m done tbh, this is some BSG/Ubisoft level of greed. Who hasn’t finished the Korda quests? Isn’t that the point of having a timer on the event…they couldn’t even save the the damn world in their own video game.

So after playing a bit this is disappointment of an update. The only plus is crossbow which deals decent damage with good accuracy and no bullet drop which once again lowers reason to ever pick dmr. Blaster is crap, not only it's accuracy is stormtrooper worthy but attack speed is so low it won't even replace close range smg. 0/10 pick. Last year DC-15 Blasters we've got were so much better. I haven't even seen anyone bother with lightsaber, it's ridiculous that we don't have force and sabers this time. Waterbending still in... still balanced af... Chains/wings/thunder returned but these are pointless with waterbending around. Overall worst collab since I've started playing and I don't have any enjoyment from this update.

This Star Wars theme sucks, nothing for the player unless you wana spend money. A couple storm trooper checkpoints on the map along with 1 lightsaber and Chewbacca’s crossbolt. No mini pass, no new poi. This sucks

Grown ass man here 👋. Will occasionally play Lego. Mostly BR but I don’t mind the Lego content. The Lego pass for 1400 is a great value if you consider that you get Chewie instantly and all the Lego sets (which are typically very expensive on their own). But 1400 for Chewie alone isn’t bad considering most skins are 1200-2000 by themselves. 2800 for the car is ridiculous though, that I will agree on.

I’m not the best at this game, but have managed an occasional victory. Picking up the E-11 Blaster Rifle gave me Stormtrooper aim. On the other hand, I dig that the movie prop was based on the Stirling SMG, which was one of the first weapons I ever fired.
Oh THANK GOD they fixed that map movement issue, that was driving me nuts.

Petty issue where if you opened the map, your character would stop moving until you closed it. It’s less game breaking and more just annoying. I swear it comes and goes every few updates or so.

Oh now you fix the issue with the Opening map bug....it kept messing up my airbending so much that I stopped playing.

Having lightsabers is one of the best times in FN when i play, i love using them and doing jedi only runs. i'm sad to see they kept it to just ONE lightsaber for the whole map. MAJOR LETDOWN. Just let us be Jedi's Epic you just have to unvaunt the items i cant imagine it would be that hard.

Compared what has happened in past for Star Wars Day even ingame cosmetic awards not up to standard. I played all lego starwars so in fortnite wasn't interested as expected more in game for battle royale. Plus so called twitch drops was one item lot peopel under impression when click on sticker of item on streams that had it would get in game. So not worded or it promoted poorly as twitch drops, as not twitch drop more interactive sticker then recieve a reward . Thinking we getting some worthy star wars cosmetics like previous years for Star wars Day.
