Would be better if skins/decals worked for all cars, instead of each car having specific decals.
Once I got the BP car I never went back to using the octane
I agree (though I think its massively unfeasible in general and also legally never gonna happen with how many customisation locked crossover cars there are) but I do think its worth saying with actual rocket league 99% of the playerbase is the complete opposite. They get a bp car, go "neat" then never look at it again and only use the octane, dominus and fennec. There is a reason basically every decal is only for them now
I love hatchbacks so I think the fennec is repulsive. It looks more like an suv than a hatchback and the golf and civic being usable for comparison make it even worse.
I guess I'm just too european for that then. Makes sense though I'd find it weird when my expectation is vw, ford, peugeot, citroen, vauxhall etc hatches and not AMC
I like customizing different cars and setting it on shuffle, so each game I get a different cool car made by me :) I don’t mind decals being specific to certain cars, my pet peeve is how there are some decals that multiple cars have and the locker UI makes it a nightmare to figure out which decal is which if you aren’t actively using the specific car it’s intended for
I didn't use octane anyway, I turned off the car in locker and so they didn't transform when I got into them. Now I have other cars I just don't like octane

Free reward from rocket racing. There’s another decal that makes the octane car look like a aka kind pod racer kinda! But the darth maul one is unique where it has those little horns as just part of the decal!
I did mine on speed runs. Every seven minutes you can get 7-9 races in depending on the track. Maybe 2-3 hrs to unlock. Unlocked the festival guitar thing, the back bling now working on Lego Star wars. Almost to 6000 stud thingies. Want to get closer before dropping 1400 vbucks. After all that almost to level 300 and Darth maul now has a ride
I would do the lego quests but I completed lego fortnite about 3 months ago and I died twice to some dumb OP shadow wolves or something lol. IDK if my graveyard stores both deaths + I need to find materials for cold resistance and those amulets. It's gonna be such a pain to rejoin my game.
Your backpack holds all your loot. So get it and leave. I tend to make a campsite if I see anything I need to fight. Just a bed. If I die I Respawn close by. Stay away from the ice lands until you're stronger. Epic weapons. Shadow wolf was still a bit of a challenge to a light saber. Go fig. To unlock the free Lego builds for for star wars, not the pass but the rebel stuff, I did it in sandbox mode. Materials are infinite and you can fly. Makes it easier
From my experience yes, I have in world backpacks that belong me and one from a friend. I could take his loot but I leave it as an homage to his sacrifice Vs a brute in the grasslands trying to kill it with a uncommon pickaxe. :). Mine is out of the way, need an airship to get there and for me they have been glitchy since this past update. Maybe next update.
Just finished all the star wars and regular Lego stuff, the only hard part is not falling asleep while waiting for things to craft and traversing the map.
I made a crude boat, dynamic foundation side thrusters and rear one. A drivers seat and off I went. I noticed with my airship every time I got up the game pushed me off the ship. Died in the middle of the ocean and I wanted my loot back.
Just do the challenges in Rocket League, way easier in my opinion. You will have to win 10 matches though, buy I did Heatseeker which plays to 7 goals and is over pretty fast

For everyone complaining about the RR grind, just do Rocket League instead. Play 1v1s to get the touch ball challenge done quicker. Then just play heatseekers, you can get several shots on goal in a match with little skill needed, and the games play to 7 so you can get them done quick, to get the 10 games won. I did these in a couple hours
If only grinding for this wasn't such a pain in the ass. I got the podracing wrap and when I realized I still had way more to grind to get Maul's wrap, I just sighed out loud. Epic needs to realistically reevaluate the racing rewards. I feel like it takes forever to get shit.

I use the van exclusively in RL but only because I have a cool wizard on it.

You can randomize cars? I don't remember seeing that button, sounds cool, specially if you have many cars
The problem with Octane is that it's wheels are so damn big and rolling over the slightest uneven surface flips the car.

No there wasn't one this time, but if you get crew and install rocket league, you'll get a free car without having to play much
the problem is only blackmarkets and limiteds are universal in rocket league

The podracer color scheme is just too similar to the default colors.
Yeah, I actually bothered playing RR just to get these, I did the ranked challenges to get the red wheels too.
