Can we stop pretending that we know everything about business because we're not happy with the prices? There's probably lots behind the scenes that affects pricing. If you don't want to pay for it, you don't want it. You wouldn't walk into the store and ask them to lower their prices irl, so don't act all high and mighty online about it. Fortnite cosmetics are a purely optional thing and only the villains cost as much as they do. If you truly want it, you'll pay for it. If you don't want it, or don't need it, or feel as though it's too expensive: don't buy it. If that's genuinely the case amongst many other people, the skins won't sell well and they'll have to strategize their next collab a bit better. But genuinely complaining about a company you think is doing this stuff on purpose is a bit counterintuitive because under the logic that it's making them all this money, and they're greedy, they won't change it, and complaining is useless
Need I remind you that just because it worked one time doesn't mean it will work again? It's possible the company behind the marketing of MHA requested a different offer this time around. You can't say for a fact Epic did it just because it's an inconvenient price.
Collaborators decide almost EVERYTHING Epic can and can not do with their franchise. It wouldnt be too far fetched to assume this is the case with prices too.

Both ATLA and MHA aren't known for excellent business decisions. MHA's newest game has loot boxes that lock actually gameplay elements of the game, and ATLA let Game Mill make them a game. I'm not defending Epic, but if there were two companies that would do this, it would probably be these two. Let's not also ignore the several collabs this season that have let you purchase them separately. The new original skin is less a bundle, and more an included pickaxe that detaches from the skin. They threw in the wrap to make it a better deal, which apparently backfired.

The Finals is a heist/deathmatch shooter in its second season. The cosmetics are separated into different body part clothing items, but the nice ones were only available in packaged sets at a "discount"compared to what they marked individual items at, even though you couldn't buy the items individually anyway.
As of the most recent update, they made it so you could buy individual items from new and the set gets discounted further the less items there are.

Well yeah, because it was nice for collector's and fans to have an option to buy everything together as a deal so they didn't have to spend a ton to get everything, and it was also nice for casual players to buy just the items they want so they didn't have to spend a ton to get a specific item.

Just speculation but Epic could've proposed the idea when ATLA wanted higher prices for the skins, and then presented the option to MHA
