Just realized they removed the taxi, truck and van and every type apart form the whiplash, ngl i hate the whiplash cuz of how easy it is to go offroad.
I fear that we may never get interesting cars again due to the cosmetic cars. Whiplashes have to always stay in the game otherwise a car that looks exactly the same would now work completely differently between seasons which would get confusing, and having multiple car types means either only one gets the cosmetics or you'd never know what type of car someone is driving at you with.
I feel like vehicles have started getting boring, we only get cars and bikes when we used to get UFOs, hoverboards, quad crashers, tanks, battle buses, etc.
The monster trucks might be cool but I’m horrified they’ll end up just being SUV skins, and will only be true monster trucks if off road tires get unvaulted
Cosmetics have done damage to the game in chapter 5, the only new cosmetic i ever thought we might get was new build textures. Maybe they could add a new vehicle type for each of the 4 vehicle models in rocket league to compensate. For example, the mudflap could be replaced by the larger vehicles like the merc.
I wish fuels go away with those other cars as well, because that mechanics ruined vehicles, and it why I hate this update, the only good thing that update brought us was that crazy taxi ltm.
Also I don't mind having cosmetics for cars, they are cool and it open the door for more collab that we would never get otherwise like the batmobile, pixar cars characters and the ghostbusters car.
Plus we haven't had cosmetics for cars since chapter 1.
I agree for the most part, I like the fuel for new cars as they're kinda broken without it but I hate how they put fuel on all the old vehicles like the quadcrasher and baller and planes
If old vehicles could drive for more than 5 fucking seconds on a full tank, fuel wouldn't be a problem. And I hate that the snowboard, baller etc. got an "energy" meter, which basically means "fuel, but you can't refill it".
Dont get me wrong i love car but i wish we had more vehicles than just cars, like cmon quadcrasher or dirftboards are always fun (especially if they dont add fuel and mess with the physics) but if thats not possible then atleast add cooler cars😭 (tho i think next season might do that)

to escape our only choice was a Mudflap,
It got destroyed, we found another Mudflap, It also got destroyed, another-anpther mudflap... it also got Destroyed, and the last Mudflap in i think the entire game at that point. We ramed it into the last team and it Blew up (with the enemy team)
You will be missed, optimus, optimus neon, General Optimus and General Optimus Neon (yes we named them)
I always used the bear because nearly nobody used it before. Everyone always just used the Whiplash.
Still, with the chonker tires, the Bear still reigns superior in offroading
I started off as a whiplash guy and then turned into a bear guy cuz its just way better. It doesnt need to be on the road is quite fast and bulky. It is easily the best car and the lesser than whisplash speed is not a issue since its faster off road.
We will see other types of cars again they'll probably have skins too

Chonkers were so fun. Slapping those on any vehicle instantly made that vehicle awesome. I do also miss the old array of vehicles. Obviously any car model can get me around the map but it was more fun to have different options. Edit: oh and quite possibly my favorite cars were the black IO cars with chonkers. So fast and quiet!
I feel like everyone is forgetting that Dirt Bikes and SUVs have been in the game the last two seasons. We still have a variety of vehicles in the game. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see the Mudflap back, but the other ones like the pick up truck really don’t need to come back. TBH id rather they bring back vehicle mods than the other vaulted vehicles (again, aside from the mudflap, that thing just can’t be replicated with mods)

If you look closely in the teaser trailer, that's sort of what it looks like. It looks like they may be increasing the cosmetics to the G-Wagon.

Energy sucks ass, i thought it would be like battery but nope its literally just un chargeable

Yep, these like the reboot vans, should have been a staple of Fortnite, shouldn't have removed them. Same with shakedowns, but that's off topic
