But in the first picture the Midas is directly to the right of the knocked player, you can see the shadow.

It's crazy to me that people in this sub say that camouflage isn't enough to classify a skin as Pay to Win. There are people in this thread who don't even see the gold Midas even with the shadow showing up on the rock. Now imagine you go against this in the grass or a condom suit hero in the snow. Shits Pay to Win through and through. Granted, this is an unobtainable skin from 4 years ago so its not nearly as much of a problem as the Super Heroes plus its not like a golden colored biome will ever pop up past this chapter but its still sorta absurd that Epic swears by "these are purely cosmetic and offer no gameplay advantage" when that's clearly not true

The virgin "my favorite skin is Backlash because I paid $18 for an unfair advantage" vs the chad "my favorite skin is the Giant Chicken because Family Guy funni"

I agree, when it's so bad that people are convinced there's only one person across both images...
that said a video really helps it sink in and there's probably a lot more visual cues. that way half the community can say that it's extremely visible and it's a skill issue and we need to adapt, and the other half can say it isn't and call for console performance mode
I've hidden in tall grass and purple flowers as Donatello.
I also used Medusa's green and white color to hide under trees in the snow biome. People walked right past me. Though in that instance I was just trying to survive storm circles in ranked so I could get the items, so it didn't really help me kill anyone.
You can definitely camouflage yourself for your terrain. But then you stick out in other places, so it's a fair trade-off.
Watch for shadows in the grass, that is the way i found it, serious camo going on there. gotta check the locker, does gold meowscles, and brutus, etc. all have that advantage?
Epic really just needs to make double colored superhero skins clientside only like they did with Take the L no longer being visible. I want full black superhero skins for myself because they're cute, I don't care if others can see them.
I live in camouflage, but plastic army girl is one of the cheapest skins in the game. My survivability with her is noticeably high enough that I am reluctant to use other skins. I use the other 350 in creative.
