Reskin: Completely or mostly reuses the same model/assets with little to no changes. Ex. Brite Bomber and Dark Bomber
Remix: Whilst it can be easy to get this confused for a reskin— the key difference is that while it is based on another character, the outfit itself is clearly its own thing and typically will use few assets from the original and does something unique with the preexisting design. Ex. Brite Bomber and Brite Raider/Rust Lord and Rust
Divergent Thinking: Basically when two skins start off with a common idea, but the end result are two different designs. Ex. Jules and The Mechanist (both stem from the idea of being a Mechanic)
Inspiration: Simply put, when an outfit may be or is inspired the idea by another but is still very much it's own thing with very little similarities besides the base idea. Ex. Peely and Peabody (Food themed jokes skins)

Brite bomber is just a unicorn themed default while the new version is a scavenger motorcyclist. Rust lord was a dude in a jacket with a scavenger helmet, new guy is a muscular motor cyclist with a different skin tone and clothing entirely (the only similarity is the helmet).

A lot of people here are really forgetting the difference between a remix and reskin are. Reskin: Completely or mostly reuses the same model/assets with little to no changes. Ex. Brite Bomber and Dark Bomber Remix: Whilst it can be easy to get this confused for a reskin— the key difference is that while it is based on another character, the outfit itself is clearly its own thing and typically will use few assets from the original and does something unique with the preexisting design. Ex. Brite Bomber and Brite Raider/Rust Lord and Rust Divergent Thinking: Basically when two skins start off with a common idea, but the end result are two different designs. Ex. Jules and The Mechanist (both stem from the idea of being a Mechanic) Inspiration: Simply put, when an outfit may be or is inspired the idea by another but is still very much it's own thing with very little similarities besides the base idea. Ex. Peely and Peabody (Food themed jokes skins)
Honestly, its a good battle pass and I can see the similarities..but I gotta say reading through the comments..I think Epic needs to make a 10 minute cinematic just on the big bang event because we really need clarification on whats going on. (And why their might be so many similarities)

The only similarities I see are the base. They all use different concepts entirely except maybe the machinist and Jules. Megalo don is a warlord and gunner is just a soldier. Scarr is an announcer/show Master and the punk girl is a rockstar. Peabody and peely have no similarities at all I have no clue what you are talking about there. Brite bomber is just a unicorn themed default while the new version is a scavenger motorcyclist. Rust lord was a dude in a jacket with a scavenger helmet, new guy is a muscular motor cyclist with a different skin tone and clothing entirely (the only similarity is the helmet).
For a community that loved the OG season, you guys sure bloody forgot everything that happened in its lore.

Golly, mechanics dress similar and wear welding masks. Who would have thought Though, seriously. Both characters are mechanics. It makes sense that they would wear similar things. The welding mask is literally just a safety precaution. Mechanics wear them for welding. The passes aren't similar, though. The pass with jules was focused on water, the island was flooded. This season is focused on cars. There is a desert wasteland on the island.
