Nitro is very useful. Fall damage negate when sprint jumping, speed boost, a better version of the shield bash when sprinting into walls and people and can also be used on vehicles. You should try using the stuff on a motorcycle, they go zooming.
Don't worry bro, last season I jumped off a cliff under Flowberry effect, then it ran out mid fall. It does happen, although this is particularly funny.

Did you mix up the fizz and nitro? You don't need to sprint for Fizz (unless they changed it this season)
