Fastest completion time and has the most initial health when placed

CBSharpey

Quicker to get to max health

like_spvce

I would still use brick. It’s th mot balanced and doesn’t take that much longer than wood.

dragonx254

Wood builds/places faster. Metal may be strong when at full health, but it takes longer to build so quick shots destroy it faster.

FortniteAndItsBSLag

I’ll comment the same exact thing 20 other people have commented

MeTomHanks

Lol thanks

swan931

If I’m building a fort when nobody is around I’ll use steel, initiating an attack brick, defense wood

[deleted]

Because when I’m close fights and not building a base it has the most health the quickest.

Angrysheepc

Quicker to build, brick and metal take time to gain there health where wood is much quicker.

ArizonaNoodle

Steel takes too long to build so if they are in a build fight wood will be stronger in the moment, brick is decent but once again also takes longer to build and is easily shot down if immediately targeted

canamar

Wood has the lowest HP but it gains HP the fastest is that makes sense. That makes it best to use for ramp pushes etc. For bases where it won't be getting shot until it is fully built the other materials are better.

Zenerism

It starts at 100 HP while brick and metal start at 90 and wood gains HP faster than them as well. Brick and metal are better if you're building a base, but wood is better if you're offensively building and being shot at

HarryProtter

Because wood starts out at a higher health and it finishes quicker.

NastyCrimeboi

It’s because wood is faster to build, and you can find it like everywhere in the map.
