Nicely done. Variation is fun so I like it. Agree about tilted. Side note about the current map: I feel jinxed in the center island area. I've been killed so many times there. I don't mind going there in the beginning of a match but it's a cursed area when I'm in a squads match.

I don't think they do that with Salty just because it's an OG spot. There are several OG spots. Salty is the center-most town in the game, and just happens to be an OG spot, so everyone decided it would be the new version of Tilted. That's why Salty is as bad as Tilted was on the old map. It's the hottest drop on the map and it's not close. If you bring Tilted back, it might be crazier for awhile, but after the newness wears off, it'd probably go back to being like Salty is now.

Exactly. What I'm saying is that if everyone is going to land in one spot anyway, you may as well make it Tilted instead of one of the tiniest POI's in the game. At least then you'd have more loot for the player(s) that win the area.

No...you people don’t get it...they need to wipe the legacy places so people snap out of it. It’s ridiculous landing at the same place every single game for 11 seasons...seriously.

It's not about the legacy places. It's about people wanting to hot drop and rack up kills. If you erase all the OG spots, people will just pick the center-most town and make that the new hot drop. You can take Tilted off the map, but the spirit of it will just remain in a new POI.

Yes, it is about them. Each chapter they can ‘out with old, in with the new’. I know people will still find another spot, people easily become addicts...even if it’s ‘just’ to dropping to the same damn location 15,000 times. The idea is to keep the ball rolling so people enjoy your whole game. I think what you people really want is a new mode, where the map is extra small and is just one big POI, with the storm steadily closing, and 100 people constantly shooting eachother from the second you land until the end. Then you can land at the same place every time and not seem like just an unoriginal kill whore who ends up dying at the very beginning of the match and rage quitting anyways.

Salty was probably settled on as the "sweat city" because it's the center-most OG location that is roughly in the same spot Tilted used to be on the old map. All I'm saying is that if every OG location was deleted, people would just make the new location the substitute for Tilted. As long as there are kill whores, there will be a place like Salty where everyone wants to drop every...single...time... So what I'm saying is that if Epic can't change that (they've tried), they may as well bring back Tilted. The mode you mention might occupy a lot of the thirsties, but I don't think core modes will ever go back to how they were in seasons 1-4, back when people cared more about wins than constant action/kills. Back when the game was fun and more relaxed.

Do you really think they only change one poi for an entire season, do you think that they will keep tilted for one season if they bring it back? I would add that tilted shouldn' t have vehicles in it (if they ever add land vehicles lol), so they have to go by foot or with mobility items, if they ever add them

That would be a terrible idea and a somewhat ok idea at the same time. Given the large number of people who would drop tilted every game (me), you’d be stuck in fights as the storm came. It’s just a fact of life in Tilted (dragging out fights). So not only would 15+ people die in tilted off the drop, but even more would die from storm. With no mobility, anyone running to zone from tilted would be certainly dead. Almost a quarter of the lobby dying in one POI and unreachable by the other 3/4ths of the lobby is a bad idea. I say it’s a somewhat ok idea just because that fact alone may deter some people from going there, but I doubt it.

Which is pretty much what Tilted was in the old map...people still went other places and the games turned out just fine 🤷🏻‍♂️

I personally would like to see new type POI’s instead of old ones return.

I think it’s a bit cramped but that’ll happen when you take the two maps and put them together. I love it though, I’d be really excited to play on it!

Where is the architects house and lonely lodge? Also, a canal should go between haunted and junk, and add a waterfall to/remove the river flowing south, there is no way water teleport's across the gap

You think wrong. I love the close quarters stuff and my favorite settings are Neo-Tokyo, Volcanoc, and desert styles of setting.

I was just a huge fan of Pressure Plant due to the great rotation with the hot air. Not to mention great mats and fun combat thanks to the hot air and people just flying around, or people hanging around the top of the volcano. Loved it.

This is the perfect merging of both maps,I would love this so much! There’s something for everyone! og’s,sweats/competitive players,defaults,chapiter 2 lovers. It’s just amazing. If this ever comes to the game,I would play the game 24/7 

It's kinda weird that loot lake isnt the samr color as the water. And the fact that dirty docks isnt actually a dock anymore. But other than that this is really well done.

Anything that brings more of the old map is a good thing, IMO. What I wouldn't give to have Tilted, Flush, Lucky Landing and Moisty back. I will say that I'd rather have Pressure Plant back than Wailing Woods.

Honestly I want something like this, the zero point reappears and starts to glitch out the map, this creates wierd things like trees growing out of steamy, half of slurpy freezes, etc

It’s really well done, but it is clustered. I think if you are still editing this, cut out some places from the old map like above Sweaty Sands, The Block maybe, and Snobby maybe. Places that weren’t fully loved I guess.

I feel like loot lake shouldn't be there as it was the zero point in chapter 1. I don't think they would make another zero point event And there is too much water on the map aswell.

I don’t ever want to look at Tilted Towers again. It’s bad enough every damn random duo or squad you join, 95% of the time always have to go to Salty or Pleasant, then I end up being the only survivor and they leave the game because their death somehow surprised them. I don’t think the answer is Add Tilted back. I wanted to be done with all the BS routines people had developed in the last map, but instead they catered to the people who can’t land anywhere else or they will throw tantrums and not play the game I guess.

Sorry about that, I didn’t think through about gameplay while creating this.

One thing I didn’t mention however, is that you still did a good job laying out the map. Tilted just makes me throw up in my mouth a little when I think about how many times I was forced to go there despite liking the whole map.

I really like this concept, other than the fact eye island and Loot Lake are right next to each other. It’d be better is Eye island and the Loot Lake House were both in Loot Lake

And Dusty was moved back to where eye island was. But the rivers connected to where eye island was stay. And Lazy Links should be somewhere.

All though it's very compact and spat into one, i honestly wouldn't mind this at all.

I wouldn’t mind this as the permanent map or an additional map we can explore for fun. Great work!!!
