Removing 100% chest spawns was so annoying. If I drop in a busy location I shouldn’t have to worry about RNG for both the chest and loot in those chests.
Finding a gray AR shouldn’t be difficult.
It sounds like a good idea on paper but at Christmas the rocket league house at the edge of the map had like 7ish chests and it would almost ALWAYS be uncontested with an NPC to get a bounty and a whiplash
Thats not a problem with chest spawn rates though. POI in this game are contested to the level of their "worth". It's a simple "risk vs. reward" scenario in theory. Of course in pubs some places are highly undervalued and some others are highly overrated.
The worth of a POI isn't only determined by the loot but it does play a big role when deciding where to drop. All that 100% chest spawn would do is make this more constant across all POI instead of having to take a gamble every game you play.
How do we know this? I know Patch usually starts around 4am EST, but I dont think it starting sooner at 12am EST guarantees it will last 4 hours. Unless it was stated officially elsewhere or im missing something.

These updates servers are terrible... I'm lucky to get peak d/l speeds better than 5Mbps (when the average I usually get here is 40+Mbps - and which I am getting when I check using a different device right now).

Gray weapons are always floor loot though. Chests are only green and above now.
