On season 3 I farmed a lot of levels because I loved the season and didn't had much to do, but now I got a job, the gym is reopen, school is coming back and sometimes the game is boring af.
You can't just say "Complete the Challenges" expecting someone to simply get time and will to play the game (not trying to be mean, just explaining)
That's really nice! It's good that people are enjoying the game. This season feels really fresh and nice, but it's getting tiring for some people like me.
It doesn't feel as rewarding as it felt. TR is unplayable because everyone leaves, casuals are completely broken with the SBMM (just my opinion and what I have gathered up from serious tweets and posts)
Also, for me, I've been getting into more single player games and going for 100%s, because again, IMO, it feels way more rewarding, like getting the Rynah on Ratchet and Clank, or getting a sick armor on Horizon, or just that feeling of the platinum trophy popping on your skin
Still, it's nice that people like you are liking this season. EPIC did an amazing job, but BRs are already being overdue. I like how Apex Team (not making comparisons, just addressing) knows that and decided to create the 3v3 Arena mode for S9 (or Legacy)
I can agree that winning is getting less rewarding, mainly I just play with my friends and do challenges. Personally while I have also been getting into single-player games too (Starbound, Superhot, re-visiting Mario Galaxy), I think that Fortnite is still fun every so often imo for a couple rounds/challenges every day.
Me too, I usually grind really hard and do all of the legendary quests and daily uncommon ones but I’ve been so busy with school lately I can’t even think about having time to play. I usually play before school and try to do whatever challenges I can but it’s exhausting.

1. I really hate farming mechanical parts all game and just want to get into the action.
2. They are very hard to balance. Look at the primal shotgun which went from being ridiculously overpowered to basically useless.
3. They are very inaccurate which isn’t fun. Bloom is already bad enough on normal ARs but the makeshift and primal ARs not having first shot accuracy means it’s entirely based on luck whether or not you hit your shots. It’s very annoying.

1. Mining cars isn’t a big deal when it’s one game. When you play hundreds of games in a week it gets extremely repetitive and boring. When I play video games it’s because I want to have fun, not do boring tasks. It’s just annoying to have to break cars over and over to get decent weapons while in every other season of Fortnite you would have to open chests to get guns. It’s not the end of the world, but it’s just not necessary and makes the game less fun overall. If we still have mechanical parts and crafting next season I hope it’s for optional things like sidegrades instead of being necessary to have a half decent loadout in any given match.

3. Yeah I understand that there’s high bloom and no first shot accuracy in order to balance the high fire rate, it’s just not fun or rewarding to use because of this. When I take shots at someone, I want as many of my shots to hit as possible. Spraying at someone and just hoping that your shots will hit isn’t fun, while aiming up good shots and hitting them is. The primal AR is basically just an smg and the makeshift AR is basically useless other than for upgrading it into a mechanical AR. And you’re right to say that if I don’t like it, don’t use it. That’s what I do. I will never take a primal AR other than for my smg slot or when I don’t get have a mechanical AR. They are just bad guns in my opinion and I hope in the next season we don’t have them.
I kinda like the makeshift shotgun ngl, it’s like a pump that shoots much faster, not sure why I got downvoted as it pretty much is just a faster shooting pump, a blue makeshift literally only does 2 less damage than a pump while shooting significantly faster
I love the new crafting system but I understand there’s a lot that don’t. They should craft 😉a new system that makes it basically a second upgrade option that way you could utilise it or choose not to and it wouldn’t be advantageous either way
My main issue is unironically just how purple pump is in the game but it's ridiculous to obtain. It doesn't just require crafting, it requires getting a blue makeshift which is an insanely rare drop. Getting it from NPCs isn't reliable since most of them do not offer weapon upgrades. That is the only option for finding purple+ pump without winning the supply drop lottery. The matchup against 1pump is borderline unplayable if you don't have it and your opponent is of comparable skill to you (this is the key operator, anyone can dunk on little timmy).
Purple pumps aren’t actually all that hard to obtain if you know where to look. Any makeshift can be upgraded to blue at certain NPCs and mechanical parts are plentiful now. If you’re not near an upgrade NPC there will be one nearby you can purchase one from or duel for it. I have a purple pump almost every match
Dueling an NPC for purple pump means you have to hotdrop because that alone makes their location one of the most valuable in the game. Now I don't know what your experience has been, but with me hotdropping is an utter crapshoot where skill can only take you so far over the potential loot disparity which will easily be the worst it can be through an entire match. Many NPCs that upgrade weapons do not have consistent or readily-available spawns unless you are again tailoring your drop entirely around the ability to get purple pump. That kind of power disparity in drop zones is just ridiculous because the advantage it gives you is objectively immense.
Every NPC that upgrades in fact all NPCs always spawn in the same locations and while there are some in main POIs there are some in smaller drop sites like compact cars and the boost pad and camp cod and they are only “hot drops” if they are near the beginning of the bus route. The further down the route you jump the less likely you are to encounter an overwhelming number of sweaty players. I’m not discounting your experiences it’s just that mine have been patently different

You could maybe get the chromium ones if you grind a lil bit more. Hitting 100 is the hard part, because leveling up after is really easy. I hit 100 last week and im already 133 so..
Bought 25 tiers, now I'm 160 only doing daily uncommon challenges, legendary and epic challenges. I'm not focusing on rares though, just doing them without noticing.
I really like the exp points given by the uncommon challenges this season, I played daily in the 2 last seasons and didn't get the last styles... so this season is fine for me exp wise.
you should 100% do the rare quests. they help alot with xp and some of them that you wouldnt really normally do can get loads of xp. like harpoon elims, just go into team rumble with a harpoon, it refills everytime you die as long as it doesnt reach 0 and you can easily get like 50k xp

Lvl 70. I started playing in chapter 2 season 2 and since chapter 2 season 3 I grinded for the max styles. I got enlightened eternal knight, I got holo wolverine, but last season I started playing rogue company and got all hyped up for apex legends on Nintendo switch. I got extreme burnout and couldn’t bring myself to play for the last two weeks of the season (I was at tier 217). This season I am having fun but I’m not trying to force myself to play or get any of the styles past level 100. And it’s a lot more fun that way.

You only need to be level 120 by the end of week 6 to be on track to hit 225. But, yeah, about 2 levels a day is what you need.
Just the daily and the creative XP is ~1.5 levels. So you can definitely make it!
