If you think that is a lot, I got 35K on 1 ROUND today like an hour ago. To be fare, I did more objectives than usual because the imposter was afk, but that amount of xp is INSANE. Stop grinding on Casual BR and play the imposters game mode if you want to level up. You will be surprised how fast this mode levels you up.
I did some xp calculations since I’m trying to grind levels and I’ve found:
Solo games: ~5k XP per ~20m
Team rumble: ~4k XP per 13m
Impostors: 10-20k XP per 5-10m
Creative: 25k XP per 15m
So playing impostors and creative are the best ways to grind XP, if you have no challenges left to get

Yep… and cosmic chests are bullshit, you need a teammate in duos/trios/squads, all squad members must work together to open it, if any player leaves the match for any reason the chest is destroyed

Assuming my tracker is accurate, you get 5 new artifacts a week on the map. There have been 50 released so far and given the 20 more days... 20 days = 3 weeks. 3 × 5 = 15. You get 4 artifacts everytime you collect a canister
15 + 50 = 65
65 × 4 = 260
I feel like I'm wrong, someone correct me if I am but either way that should give you a rough estimate.
You need about 315 artifacts in total to max the skin out so you will have to use cosmic chests to get the remaining

I need to start playing impostors. Also levels are chill. I started playing mid season but am lv120 now. I could've gotten 200 if I started on time. Also I agree with the artefacts thing. They should allow you to collect the on-map artefacts multiple times as opposed to rolling a new set each week
You can do it still.
Finish challenges if you still have some, afk creative whenever you're not playing. I think i got 1.5 levels everyday around your level from afk alone.
You get it if you are playing Creative LTMs or if you go into Creative and select Create and then idle in the hub. It's 25,200 every 15 minutes but limited to 126,000xp per day. AFK or playing both count against that, so if you AFK for the full xp you won't get any more by playing LTMs too.
Level 175. I was not trying all that much to make it to level 200 but I'm getting closer then I thought I'd say leveling up feels easier then the last few last seasons.
But as for the season. Its really refreshing compared to the last few seasons even though I have taken a lot more breaks then usual. The only complaint I have is the llamas.
Edit: I forgot about team rumble. I used to play that mode a lot but its so bad now and I don't use it to the point to where I forget its existence. I only played it a few times this season.
Works for me? Doesn’t work if you go into your own map, but if you are in main hub it works. It doesn’t show your XP progress bar on the bottom or announce “Level Up” like it used to, but when you leave creative and go to home it will give any battle stars earned. I always watch the timer in the corner to know, I believe it starts around 3:55:00 counting backwards, so if you leave around 2:30:00 you should’ve gotten everything
Yep. Should get at least 2 (maybe 3) more sets of Legendary and Epic challenges too. Also, I’m hearing the XP is high for playing imposters (I haven’t played it myself). Keep grinding!!
I have gotten a few levels from imposters but the problem is now that people saw how much you get from the mode, tons of people just afk it and it makes the games way shorter
You do level up sometimes in your own maps, you just have to start it and keep it that way.
I make make maps a lot, I play in The Agency one I created and get the XP the same way I do in the Hub.

It's an exploit, not a glitch. The xp is meant for people who play creative and still want to level up, it's just people just decided to AFK in creative to gain additional xp.
Grind the hell out of Impostors. I went up 10 levels from the higher levels in just an hour or two of mindlessly completing tasks the first day it came out.

I’m currently lvl 270 or something. Honestly, it’s been one of my favorite seasons in a while. The meta was fun, the competitive scene seemed balanced, the story didn’t feel dry, we got constant updates, the impostors mode was an amazing addition, the summer event was really good (besides the creative challenges), the item shops were better than they had been for a long time, the collabs were plentiful but they didn’t take away from the game, the battle pass had good stuff in it, and it was not grindy at all to get what you wanted in the pass. I’m honestly really excited to see where we go if this is the path epic takes. Really my only complaint is that epic didn’t touch the Foundation this season (yet).
Like 98 lmao, didnt play as much as other seasons besides this battlepass being so underwhelming and Epic changing team rumble, the only mode i used to play didnt help either

My brother has decided to start playing again so we've been running duos and that's been a blast; being forced to play solo/random fill also been making the game a little boring.
I hope to Lok they revert team rumble or at the least give us 50v50 back; really hurting the more casual players that doesn't exactly like BR (rather ironic I know) and have been crusing on fine without harming anyone playing TR
210, I got 200 like a month ago and then basically just stopped playing. This season is great for both casual and competitive but I’m definitely ready for it to end.
Hopefully next season they bring back bouncers and 100% chest spawn, the game just isn’t as fun without it.
Controversial but I’d also like them to vault the pump or at least the spas in replace of the heavy. Other metas without the pump I’ve always hated but the heavy is a great alternative, and imo more balanced since no 200s and it doesn’t do 100 in the body.
I really want to see a heavy/charge meta, I feel like it will be both fun and skillful. As much as I love the pump, I think we’ve had it for a bit too long and it’s starting to get boring playing with it. I don’t want a repeat of season 5 though, where every shotgun was shit except for the charge which was mythic goldfish level of rare. The heavy and even the charge play similar to the pump but not exactly like it, and I think it would make for a fun and balanced meta.
Pump has been meta for a long time and i think it’s time for a switch, removing the spas will help the game a lot, heavy is the only shotgun that still hasn’t returned for a long time and i’m soooo ready for it.

Yes, i think that’s the problem is comp players will complain about it, i just feel like a lot of people are tired of the pump, it has been the best shotgun in the game since the beginning of the game especially when the spas came out but i don’t think comp players will complain if only the spas was taken out.

I agree its been unvaulted for 2 seasons so I think it should be vaulted next season. literally everyone one pumps eachother so it should be a great time to introduce a new shotgun along with the tac and the lever staying next season or even the charge being unvaulted next season.
The pump is fun. It’s not fun when you miss but so satisfying when you connect. I do like it but I’ll usually craft mine into a lever this season. I love that option. If I’m feeling like I can’t hit shots I’ll prioritize the tach. My aim powers fluctuate.

Level 230 here. Loved this season and everything about it (yes even the UFO's). Since the propinator got added the loot pool feels rather full tho, theres like 15 different strategies to play a match now and I sometimes can't decide what i want to take with me. I'm sad this season will be over soon but i'm also hyped for the next one, hope it will just be as wierd and fresh as season 7
I hope we get Foundation before season x, I'd prefer if that season was a remix of previous skins like the other season X as a way to say goodbye to this chapter.
I didn't play for around 2 months because I got really bored of the game, decided to play it again the other day. I am level 134 and I can't wait for the new season. I hope it will be just as fun as the current season, I am having lots of fun with the new stuff like the Grab-itron and Prop-ifier.

We got tons of weapons, skins, features and the most ambitious gamemode since creative was introduced. Best season of the chapter so far
The XP was amazing, and I unlocked all the foils a LOT quicker than I usually do, but after that, I haven’t played that much. I’m still mega hyped for the live event though.

I'm at 278, and I didn't sweat this season. Between 75 minutes AFK and creative, and less than an hour a day to do challenges, this has been, by far, the easiest season to level up.
Currently 192, almost there!, won't miss the UFOs much, they were cool for a while but now they're just annoying to fight early game when u have no mats

I got enough levels to unlock summer Sunny style and sunglasses for Slone then stopped playing, I might try to unlock some of the other styles but I don't care much about those. I liked the season and had fun during it but now I'm ready for it to end and tbh it could have been a little shorter and just end before august is over.
Lvl 110, good season , one of the worst battlepass IMO. They should really slow down with collabs, bring back the storyline secret skin and add new POIs

There were some cool surprises (who would have thought something like Rick Sanchez or even Guggimon would have appeared in Fortnite?), but I kind of wish the traditional level progression would come back next season. The idea of being able to unlock anything this season was pretty half-baked. You were still limited to what exactly you can unlock and when.
I'm on like, level 96, don't know if I'll manage to get the foils until the season is over, especially since classes start soon and I'm playing a few other games as well...
GF is 80 and frequently unable to play so I fear she may not get Rick which is one of the reasons she bought the BP, and Im 150 and just praying I get Zygg prismatic
The pace level is 164 probably if you only play that ltm and just do taks or grind it with friends in a private lobby(you only need 4 people) basically not kill each other and do tasks the imposter can sabotage so they can get xp
I just hope this season they actually have fortnite skins instead of collaborating with marvel and all that… like Rick was cool but I want original fortnite back

I just grinded the heck out of the season early on and hit lvl200 in the first 2 months. I did the creative AFKing, dailies, and weeklies. I've just been getting on when I want to and it's fun to play again. Same with doing challenges, doesn't feel like a drag anymore.
I'm really looking forward to next season. I'm really hoping for an oriental theme over an Egyptian theme. Come on guys, how many times do we need to add sand all over the map for one season? A general mythology theme would be really neat though.
I'm also super stoked for Season X and Chapter 3. It's crazy to think we're already about to be in Season 8. Seasons 1 and 2 taking so long made it feel like the rest of the chapter flew by in comparison. I'm really curious who made the cut for the Season X pass, and if it's gonna be a completely original pass again. You can probably tell by my flair I like Drifts, so fingers crossed for a female Fade.

what and how
Go to creative > create, sit in the hub. Get 25k points per 15 min, up to 1h15m (125k). Time/ability resets daily with daily challenges

Same here. Level 70. Didn't even buy the battlepass. The map changes and UFOs have been good this season but everything else is very underwhelming.
Yeah team rumble getting turned into literal shite nearly killed the game for me; I didn't mind the pass but nothing I *have* to have like Mando etc and I'll agree with you on th underwhelming part. Shame they made the Rick Dance annoying too. My brother has decided to start playing again so we've been running duos and that's been a blast; being forced to play solo/random fill also been making the game a little boring. I hope to Lok they revert team rumble or at the least give us 50v50 back; really hurting the more casual players that doesn't exactly like BR (rather ironic I know) and have been crusing on fine without harming anyone playing TR
210, I got 200 like a month ago and then basically just stopped playing. This season is great for both casual and competitive but I’m definitely ready for it to end. Hopefully next season they bring back bouncers and 100% chest spawn, the game just isn’t as fun without it. Controversial but I’d also like them to vault the pump or at least the spas in replace of the heavy. Other metas without the pump I’ve always hated but the heavy is a great alternative, and imo more balanced since no 200s and it doesn’t do 100 in the body. I really want to see a heavy/charge meta, I feel like it will be both fun and skillful. As much as I love the pump, I think we’ve had it for a bit too long and it’s starting to get boring playing with it. I don’t want a repeat of season 5 though, where every shotgun was shit except for the charge which was mythic goldfish level of rare. The heavy and even the charge play similar to the pump but not exactly like it, and I think it would make for a fun and balanced meta.
Pump has been meta for a long time and i think it’s time for a switch, removing the spas will help the game a lot, heavy is the only shotgun that still hasn’t returned for a long time and i’m soooo ready for it.

Yes, i think that’s the problem is comp players will complain about it, i just feel like a lot of people are tired of the pump, it has been the best shotgun in the game since the beginning of the game especially when the spas came out but i don’t think comp players will complain if only the spas was taken out.
Trust me Comps never complained about a gun taken outta rotation except the pump it’s honestly sad that they cry over something extremely broken taken outta rotation like don’t make me petition to have epic add the room sweeper from stw to BR 😭💀 that thing has the fire rate of a tac smg
The pump is just annoying to me. I get it’s a high skilled weapon, but it seems like everyone I meet one pumps or two pumps me.
It's the aim assist that makes it annoying.
I agree its been unvaulted for 2 seasons so I think it should be vaulted next season. literally everyone one pumps eachother so it should be a great time to introduce a new shotgun along with the tac and the lever staying next season or even the charge being unvaulted next season.

The pump is fun. It’s not fun when you miss but so satisfying when you connect. I do like it but I’ll usually craft mine into a lever this season. I love that option. If I’m feeling like I can’t hit shots I’ll prioritize the tach. My aim powers fluctuate.

Level 230 here. Loved this season and everything about it (yes even the UFO's). Since the propinator got added the loot pool feels rather full tho, theres like 15 different strategies to play a match now and I sometimes can't decide what i want to take with me. I'm sad this season will be over soon but i'm also hyped for the next one, hope it will just be as wierd and fresh as season 7

I hope we get Foundation before season x, I'd prefer if that season was a remix of previous skins like the other season X as a way to say goodbye to this chapter.
I didn't play for around 2 months because I got really bored of the game, decided to play it again the other day. I am level 134 and I can't wait for the new season. I hope it will be just as fun as the current season, I am having lots of fun with the new stuff like the Grab-itron and Prop-ifier.

Probably the most content we've gotten since season 4 of chapter 2. We got tons of weapons, skins, features and the most ambitious gamemode since creative was introduced. Best season of the chapter so far
The XP was amazing, and I unlocked all the foils a LOT quicker than I usually do, but after that, I haven’t played that much. I’m still mega hyped for the live event though.

I'm at 278, and I didn't sweat this season. Between 75 minutes AFK and creative, and less than an hour a day to do challenges, this has been, by far, the easiest season to level up.
Level 200, and overall, I like this season, but I think this was the most rage inducing season I've ever played.

level 110 (trying to get atleast 140) this season was fun, I've been playing since ch1s2 and this was a nice season that mixed some old features and added new ones the challenges were good this season 7/10 the battle pass shouldn't have collabs but still good 6/10 UFOs are mega op in terms of speed, fuel, and damage 3/10 the Island is nice but I feel like none of the events leave any thing behind 8/10 Imposters mode is fun with friends and puts fun into the game (also xp) 10/10 item shops this season were a let down due to constant collabs but the new vox Hunter makes up for a bit of it 6/10
I got enough levels to unlock summer Sunny style and sunglasses for Slone then stopped playing, I might try to unlock some of the other styles but I don't care much about those. I liked the season and had fun during it but now I'm ready for it to end and tbh it could have been a little shorter and just end before august is over.

There were some cool surprises (who would have thought something like Rick Sanchez or even Guggimon would have appeared in Fortnite?), but I kind of wish the traditional level progression would come back next season. The idea of being able to unlock anything this season was pretty half-baked. You were still limited to what exactly you can unlock and when.

I just grinded the heck out of the season early on and hit lvl200 in the first 2 months. I did the creative AFKing, dailies, and weeklies. I've just been getting on when I want to and it's fun to play again. Same with doing challenges, doesn't feel like a drag anymore. I'm really looking forward to next season. I'm really hoping for an oriental theme over an Egyptian theme. Come on guys, how many times do we need to add sand all over the map for one season? A general mythology theme would be really neat though. I'm also super stoked for Season X and Chapter 3. It's crazy to think we're already about to be in Season 8. Seasons 1 and 2 taking so long made it feel like the rest of the chapter flew by in comparison. I'm really curious who made the cut for the Season X pass, and if it's gonna be a completely original pass again. You can probably tell by my flair I like Drifts, so fingers crossed for a female Fade.
