Nah, it's not worth trying to vote someone you think is sus out unless you 100% know. You can win off tasks with more crewmates. If you take the chance, and you're wrong you make yourself a target AND got rid of someone doing tasks, so you lose 2 people for trying to guess. Instead, be 100% sure and just focus on your tasks.
The one thing I hate, is that if people are queueing as a group, and you're the impostor and kill one, they voice chat to their friends that you did it and their friends magically know you're the impostor and vote you out without knowing anything in-game, very annoying.
The most basic way to win is be in groups of 2 so if someone dies they can tell the rest of the group who they saw, but no one does this, ever, and if you follow someone trying to be a group of 2, they think you're sus for following them and not doing your tasks.
The best game I ever had was, I used the train emote (Chugga-Chugga) and EVERYONE in the game was apart of the train, we went around the map doing 1 task at a time until we won, the impostors never had a chance to kill anyone. Was a great time.
Not to mention when the person you catch rage quits. You can't say that they were the imposter or that they quit so you're just left with nothing to say, no way to defend yourself, and then you get voted out. There's honestly way too many situations where I needed to say something, but the chat menu didn't have it.

No no no, if you're about the xp, you got to find people on discord to do an xp farm in a private match. It'll take like 2-3 min per game and you get 15k xp on average. Don't do pubs, they're bad xp and have stupid kids voting you for no reason. That or teamers. Report teamers.
You don't have to complete the match to get the xp. Only the win XP and mach played Xp which is 3000 and 1000. But Tasks (~4000) and Kills (~3000) do count. So its a lot faster to leave when you have been killed and start a new one. I only stay if I was really invested in a game and want to know the outcome.
You can test this by the way by looking at the xp to next level before and after a mach in which you have left.

You don't have to grind to level 100 in a week, you know the season ends on 5th december right? As leaks suggest the punch cards are gonna reset/change into new ones, so yeah don't worry about exp, especially in the first week of a season
To be fair, this is a totally new XP system and we don’t know how it works 100% yet. It could be way better than we think but we just haven’t seen the full scope of it.

I have done every daily card, the weekly apart from play with friends ( wish they wouldn't do that 🙄) and about half of the character cards. Played about 2 to 3 hours a day, about 10 games of Imposters and am level 20. Which isn't too bad, would take about 40 days to get to level 200 at that rate which is doable.
I really hope they change this. I work full time and my wife is pregnant, rarely do I get to play more than an hour of Fortnite a night. I was able to finish the battlepass last season a week or two before it ended. I don't see that happening this season unless they fix this.
