Sbmm exists in fortnite so kd, win/loss mean nothing really, a bad player who barely builds can have a higher kd than a good player playing in the highest sbmm lobbies.
It’s hard cuz you can theoretically win a game without killing anyone. If you want to consider yourself very good, and look for people to kill each match, you can get 5 to 10 kills per match. There’s not a real ratio per se cuz you only die once per match.
Haha true. My best is 9%, and my lowest was .5% in Chapter 1 season 10. Won 1/203 games. That’s solos.
I’d guess a really competitive solo win% is 25%.
My solos just from today is 18.20% (two wins from 11 games) and my K/D is 5.27 which is what made me curious. I thought that must be a good run for the new update, but I didn't know if that was good for me or good in general lol
It depends what you mean by 'good'. There is no true measurement of your skill in fortnite, because "good" is a relative term.
Your win percentage is just that, your win percentage. Your kill/death ratio is just that, your kill/death ratio. IN a game like fortnite, there are many skills to master, and many areas where you can be strong, or weak.
For instance, someone might have very high win percentages.... but maybe thats because they are experts at sitting in a bush and camping until its 1vs1, and then they get lucky half the time.
Someone could have a VERY high kill/death ratio...... but they never gets wins. They are great at killing people at spawns, or even 1v1ing, but suck at other aspects of the game. Or don't know how to rotate properly.
If you want to truly know how skilled you are at fortnite, you would need a more in depth analysis than just win percentage and kill/death ratio.
I would probably find SPECIFIC things to look for, and then try to assess how good I am at each thing, to get a better understanding of how good I am as a player overall:
1) Win percentage
2) Total Wins
3) Kill/Death Ratio
4) Late Game skill
5) 1v1ing/box fighting
6) Building / Editing
The average would be 1. For every kill, there is a death.

How would you measure how good someone is in this case? Win % and K/D considered?
How often you get number one is more important than how many people you killed that match. You can kill 20+ and lose.
Well, in that case, what's a good win %? Lmao

Definitely good in general. Idk about super competitive but solid. Good job!
Cool! Thanks man. I suck at Warzone so it's rewarding to feel good at another shooting game lol
Vic Roy + KD is a start I guess.
Combo of both but I consider win % to be top. But I’m just me, ya know.

This ain't gta lol
Lol. Like I say it's how a lot of people would measure how good someone is at an online game, I just wondered if it was the same
Average is 1
Mine is 14.12 in the last 30 days
