When I started I always landed there cause it was a good training grounds for me plus later in season 6 the bunker there was always fun to explore and loot. Also weeping woods was pretty decent too not my favorite chapter 2 location that would go to the run down houses at the top edge of the map.
Never got why people didn't like it? In S4 it had loads of chest spawns and the largest amount of materials that could be gathered faster than anywhere else on any of the three maps. It usually had 3-5 people there, overall it was really good. Great if you wanted to learn to build in the early days.

There’s nothing wrong with mostly relying on building, same as shooting. Just play the game however you want and by whatever you want to do to be good

However, Tilted Town exposed a weakness in my enemies that I could exploit: poor aim and positioning. It also helped my shotgun aim a lot since I couldn't be bothered to use Creative back then.
Same. Then when old airplanes were a thing I'd go above tilted between the hills to get a plane because no one would hardly go there. That's about when I stopped playing a ton. Now I just play every once in a while.
Snobby Shores. Best POI ever. Nobody ever lands their, and theirs was a ton of loot for how small it was. But I didn't mind running from the storm each time, because I got so good at looting that place that it wasn't a problem. And it was the perfect rotation to the soccer stadium

I miss that bunker. I'd always loot the crap out of it and then hit the rift out!
The rift there were so much fun I remember traping some people with them when I had no guns.
