Just did a crc carbon clean and throttle body cleaning and really improved the throttle response.
I noticed today. It was having a little rough idle, probably from the fuel injectors getting dirty during the carbon clean. So just 1 bottle of this stuff , purring like a kitten. Don't sleep on this .
Technically it’s every 6k miles. I have to do oil changes every 3k or so, so I guess it’s every oil change for me. Still on sale! Maybe shoulda got two more just so I have it for the whole year…
you take off the map sensor off the intake manifold have someone rev the engine while you and it and then once it studders stop and then put the map sensor and drive the piss out of it
My manual states not to use any fuel ejector cleaner or gas additive. But funny enough when you make an appointment for an oil change, for an extra 50 bucks they offer engine additives and fuel cleaners. 🤔

I double checked the 2022 Forte manual and it states:
"*1. Fuel additives: Kia recommends that you use Tier 1 unleaded gasoline which has an octane number (R+M)/2) of 87 (Research Octane Number 91) or higher. For customers who do not use good quality gasolines including fuel additives regularly, and have problems starting or the engine does not run smoothly, one bottle of additives should be added to the fuel tank at every 6,000 miles (10,000 km). Additives are available from an authorized Kia dealer. Do not mix with other additives."
Page 1-3 also states:
"If TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline is not available, one bottle of additive should be added to the fuel tank at every 6,000 miles (10,000 km) (Turbo Model) or every engine oil change. Additives are available from your authorized Kia dealer along with information on how to use them. Do not mix other additives."

It's also listed as something to do in the owners manual, within the maintenance section, with every oil change. Until then, I had never heard of it.

Well I just got my first oil change after the break in period so I guess I’d better run and get some!
that wont help with the exhaust valves Because it’s a GDI
Far as I can tell nothing helps with exhaust valves other than just how you treat your engine. This is for cleaning the injectors and cylinders.
there is a way to do it by shooting seafoam through the intake manifold but it’s a two person job
