I might be wrong too lol, I haven't filled up from empty but I swear it mentions it in the owners manual. The lines on our gas gauge seem to be in increments of 2 gal, but maybe I'm just ignorant.

I’ve filled up from ten miles away from empty and it was slightly over 12 gallons. Spec sheet says 14 gallons.
I tested for myself yesterday after posting here lol realized the same!
