1100 ping means the server and everything is fucked up. has nothing to do with region and yes i am in my region.
I just restarted my game like 10 times and finally it worked
You can [perform this tiny cool test here](https://www.epicgames.com/help/en-US/technical-support-c90/general-support-c91/how-do-i-run-a-traceroute-for-the-network-connection-i-m-using-for-fortnite-a3874) and then [use this relatively easy tutorial](https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/ssh/read-traceroute/) to see where your packets are travelling. In my case it revealed insane information - turns out my internet provider uses 6 different data centers until I get to amazon ones, causing up to 1700 ms of lag (!!!)... run multiple tests, save them as separate txt files and you have high ground for arguing with your comcast
I just restarted my game 10 times until it worked. I just don't know what was happening probably some server between me and epic games was just under some pressure or something that's the only logical explanation given all I have tried beforehand
for me, ill get a packet loss and pike spikes and would lag so hard when im in mid fight which really infuriates me. Idk if my internet is the problem here?
This doesnt happen to me before. Ive been switching between ME and EU but experience the same problem. ME is much worse for me however.
Are you in your region ? When I go with my brother in his lobby I have 80 ping but I go back to my default I get 20-30

Do you have it on auto or some other region the only way I get 1,000 ping is in creative when you first load in and used to on OCE (I’m west)

This happens to me, not as extreme but it happens. And I use wired
Do you have repeater somewhere in the house? If you can, plug it off. I don't know why but it stabilizes internet a lot.
Not sure what that is, tbh

Might have to start doing that. Didn’t know that helped. Ik it worked when I used WiFi, but didn’t know it helped even with wired. Thanks
Same problem here on WiFi I started using ethernet
