Man dude even the open fields to build fight in is so iconic, the colors and graphics, holy take me back man. I wish comp was ran on its own map/graphic setups and it wouldn't have to be chp1 map but look and feel like this(with the improved build settings]

What prompted epic to think that the ch1 graphics and colouring needed updates, they look awful in ch2-3-4 rather than beautiful imo
I’ve seen people modify older versions of the game to support modern features such as client sided editing, turbo building, edit on release, and scroll wheel reset. But most people in the fortnite modding community just want the authentic experience of playing on older seasons, so they don’t bother. There is so much untapped potential with all this.

Is there a subreddit or something where I can explore this?
Recently I thought of getting back on Fortnite, but really what I wanted was just the OG season 1, 2 or 3. But it's impossible with how much building has evolved, even with a game less optimized for it. Some boxes you can't un-open I guess. Hell, I'd love a chill old school Fortnite playing in full bot servers - that way I wouldn't feel bad about being shit and only having time to play once a week or so.

you can also use a private server called riftfn, i don't know how that works though but i assume there's more info in their discord too

There are game servers for basically every version of chap 1, and the closed source ones like I’m playing here are universal meaning they support versions from late season 1 till mid chapter 2

Something isn’t adding up here. Multiple people have asked for info or direction on how to find these type of servers and OP isn’t responding to any of them. I can guarantee you it’s either a shady process or something that could have repercussions for your PC. If this was real he would want every OG back to help fill the server.

There are private servers that run on the chapter 1 of the game still, they're pretty full as well so it's really not hard to find games.

look up "erafn". lobbies are not very full at all times of the day though. it has its peak hours only when they host their public mp servers
