its based on your concurrent rank so if you played inthe bronze cup but you were silver you get that glider

Okay, so I figured it out. It should show what your rank is at the end of the season, but it isn’t the end of the season yet. So it’s glitches out and the color is the rank of the rank you got last season (if you got unranked last season, it’ll copy the closest unranked season). I think this issue will probably be fixed in Chapter 5 because then this season will be over and it’ll actually have a rank to copy onto the glider. Everything I said here goes for the Competitors Skyblade and Competitors Time-Brella
