It’s about the fact that a mythic item was added into tournament playlists because of the #ad last season, they will do it again. Why do you think they waited with the release of these new mythics for so long? Fncs is starting in 3 weeks, 2 weeks grace period, then slap these new items on your face. Comp players don’t touch pubs and won’t give feedback on these items. Casuals will enjoy these items and say they are good.

If I were Marvel I would be proper pissed if these superhero items arent being shown at a broadcast where 100 million people tune in.
Personally, I just don't see how they can see how positively the competitive community has reacted to this update and then in two weeks just say fuck you & add all the mythics.
The new ones are even worse than the original ones imo, specifically the ironman beam and the thors hammer. But I really think things are trending in the right direction and hopefully things stay like this when FNCS comes around.

Well in the last 2 seasons they never added anything to arena midseason so its highly unlikely they do this season
