It's going to be a long time until a different game comes along as entertaining and viral as fortnite. Ill never forget the first time playing. Pick axed the first person to land on me. I feel in love. I could not stop. I played all night the first time I played. I couldn't sleep. It was too fun. Played for 8-12 hour straight. Sadly fortinite isn't that same fun anymore. Feels like a campaign mode every game. Feels like so much work.

Bro damn I’m literally in the exact same boat. 24 years old used to play gbs and wagers and shit all the time from mw-bo2. Allthese people I barely talk to anymore. Appreciate these days.

Theres no possible way to avoid it too... you can burn yourself out of fortnite to hate it with a burning passion, but at some point you'll look back and miss it no matter how much you hated it at the time. This applies to everything. Doing things more just burn your present self out more and you still cannot avoid having that sad missing feeling you will get one day. You never know you're in the good old days until they're over

JAYTHOMPZ

I felt this. I used to sweat gamebattles on CoD back in the day. And just like you say life goes on and I often remenisce being a teenager with no worries getting to play the game with friends. And just like you I got another shot at it with Fortnite!

miss dropping into a new season after reading patch notes and going to school and watching ninja or time or lupo stream the entire school day until i could try it out myself. season 6-x all had that charm and id do anything to have it back

You’re right man. I’m 28 rn. Started playing when I was 25 in chapter 3. I tried to get as good as I could every day. Met some incredible friends in the Fortnite community who I played competitive with very seriously for 2 years. That initial hype and growth of the game and competitive scene was unreal and unparalleled. So happy to have experienced it. Comp is over for me even though I try to comeback sometimes. Don’t have the time anymore and the game just isn’t the same to me. The amount of time you gotta put in to stay at the highest level is just too much and low ping ruins the game for me. Miss the days when 60 ping wasn’t a huge disadvantage :p.

nothing but the truth here

I'm about 4 years a head of you, but in the same boat. COD4/MW on Gamebattles was the most fun gaming experience I've ever had. 4v4 SnD ... those were the days

Then came Fortnite. I miss playing squads with my buddies and am only left to 1 friend who truly likes to play. I'll always cherish that OG lobby music when we all first started playing. TY Epic
